TAMILNADU STATE ENGINEERING ENTRANCEIN 2007, 267 OUT OF 300. IT WAS NEW COURSE & HAD BRIGHT FUTURE.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculm covers all basic Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandary, Food Science, Food Technology & food Engineering. Main Food engineering subjects like Dairy processing, Meat & fish processing, Food Process Equipment design as elective in last two year.
Internships Opportunities
There was no internship assistance provided during my college days. We worked free of cost during our intern. I worked in an Egg industry in erode, which provides basic knowldege about industry & its environment. It also helped me to learn/understand the fundamental in daily use.
Placement Experience
Four companies namely ITC, Britania, SKM Eggs & Suguna Chicken companies came for campus interview. 5 persons out of 19 person in our batch got placement. Initial package was around 2 lakhs per annum in 2007.
College Events
We have minimum one function in college campus. As our is a main campus, it was very big in nature & well diversified audience base. Main is annual day, hostel day, Independence day, World food day, welcome day, farewell day, farmers day, science day etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
A college is run by state government,but my course is self -run & fees are nominal & affordable to all in nature. Only Rs.10,000/- per semester. Total 8 semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
Only government scholarship are available for undergraduate students. only for Post graduate have good scholarship.
Campus Life
Overall quality of life is very good in campus both academic & extra curricular wise. Lot of scope for personal improvement in all fields you want. be it sports, cultural, leadership, academic. Full of greenary, vast area & all facilities to improve your caliber.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are spacious & clean. It is three sharing room. Gents & ladies hostel are separate. Food is of very good quality & at cheap cost.
Alumni/Alumna
Strict in starting years & well helpful once mingled. One of the highlight of my college experience. Still have a contact with my seniors. We were like a family members. I have very good relations with seniors who passed out before i joined the college.
Exam Structure
Exams & labs were chill out areas. Lab classes are interesting & fun way. As exams are short in nature,it was a way of learning.
Faculty
The faculties are very experienced & have in-depth knowledge in the subject. Standards are very high in the respective field of specialization. Uses latest tech tools for teaching & provide opportunity to learn on our way. Every subject have practical equ
