- The faculty is quiet experienced and most of them even have corporate experience which helps them give students a clear idea of what to expect and what skill set they should have
- The college has good infrastructure and provides amenities like common rooms and music room
- The courses curriculum is very relevant to professional development and follow NEP
Dislikes
- More focus is given on academics due to which students generally lean less towards cocurricular
- Most of the first year classes take place in the afternoon due to which they usually get free till 6 in the evening
- 80% attendance is compulsory for every course which could make it difficult to skip 2 credit courses
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum prepared is made according to NEP. It does prepare us for real world and further academic pursuits. The ICA is taken during the end of august and then mid terms in september and end sem exams in december
Placement Experience
the students are eligible for campus placements in the last year of their course. Companies such as vipro, mircosoft visit the college for placements the highest package for the previous accadmic year was 900000
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure varies from course to course and usualaly we can see a hike in fees every year. students do have an option to pay the fees in one go or half yearly or even monthly and low cost EMI There are scholarships for students who genuinly need financial assistance
Campus Life
The overall experience is okay. their is one main fest the college orgainzes evey year and otherthan that their are en number of clubs and comittees to join which vary from debate to rotractary. their is also a wide range of sports which students can choose from
Hostel Facilities
the girls hostel is double sharing i.e 2 girls in each room in a 2BHK flat and doesnt have gym. they do provide washing machines for laundary. breakfast, dinner and snacks are provided in the hostel itself and lunch in the college canteen
Admission
To be eligible one must complete their 12 with minimun 50% and have maths as a subject. There are different enterence exams for different schools within the college such as NPAT for school of commerece and CET for school of science
Faculty
the faculty is qualified and some of them even have more than 15 years of work experence. they are quiet approachable and helpfull. Classes are like a two way street as the teachers are open minded and open for discussons
