Likes

Mnit Jaipur is located at a very great location and you can access any necessary or day to day life needs easily .
The campus is very peaceful and green . The hostel and mess are well managed and loveable .
It's classrooms and computer centre provides all important and required elements and knowledge to the students and teachers are very knowledgeable

Dislikes

The criteria of 75% attendance is worst and the hectic schedule in some semesters is overburden to us
Our college doesn't have election that's why we don't have any students leader who can raise voice for us and hence we have to stick with the mail pattern to authorities which is not a good solution
The timing for the boys is not fixed but for the girls it's 10 pm and our college doesn't allow different gender in hostels

Mnit offers a wide range of courses and provides a full fledged curriculum to support the course and provides the best faculty and coordinator to operate and help you. The system is good and easy on students

Internships Opportunities

Internship is based on students and their capabilities but our college provides best internship opportunities as well which serves more technical and field knowledge and much useful at the time of placements

Placement Experience

As a NIT our college provides very good placement opportunities and our average placement is nearly upto 12 lakhs which is much more than the salary of 98% of Indians hence you can expect a good placement if you are enrolled here

Fees and Financial Aid

As MNIT is a national institute and provides a great platform for the students and the fees is 85000 rs per semester which is not a hefty amount and also the institute provides 2/3rd and 100% scholarship based on annual income of your parents.As per the job opportunities it's one of the best institutes of the country

Campus Life

The campus life at nit or iits are similar more fun and enthusiasm, better hostels and mess than other institutes you enjoy the company of your friends and classmates very much the day to day life in same campus is also very exciting

Hostel Facilities

Our college also have hostels and they are good irrespective of hostel in private colleges they are built at great location with good views and also have indoor mess and play courts . Mess food is also good and the quality is ok

Hostel Fee: INR 65000 per year

Admission

The admission in MNIT JAIPUR is totally based on jee mains and as it is a teir 1 college it requires a good amount of marks to be scored it only accepts top 3% of students from jee mains if you are from some reservations caste then you might get seat withe less marks compared

Faculty

Most of the faculty members are PhD holders with renowned institutes and have a great sense of knowledge and works for the betterment of students. But some teachers are strict not because of their position but it's also for the student else they waste most of their time instead of what they were supposed to do

Jecrc have average placement they show 55 lakh package on advisement and 6 lakh at average placement, but I talked with senior they say placement is not good from jecrc. But I thought have good placement in jecrc university.

Decent college for the girls

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle,bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.

Totally satisfied with the teaching quality, placements and the infrastructure of this college.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Several high-profile companies ranging from IT, consulting, analytics, electronics, mechanical, civil, and pharma come to the campus for placements. Approx 95% of students get placed with an average CTC approx 9LPA and the highest being 35LPA. I plan on working in the company I got placed in and think about my future plans later.

Life at MNIT Jaipur

MNIT stood out for its national ranking, active campus life, and better research opportunities compared to the state colleges. The admission process is through JEE Main and JoSAA counselling—cutoffs for CSE are usually under 10,000 AIR, while other branches have higher cutoffs. MNIT is among the best NITs of Northern India further it possesses a highly strong mechanical in civil departments which is regarded to be the strongest one after IIT Roorkee in Northern India to be admitted into MNIT you need to clear JEE Mains examination with a minimum 97% tile for the general category further than you need to apply for JOSAA and C-SAB consuelling to admit into MNIT. I have also taken admission in NIT Allahabad mechanical engineering but I wasn't able to get it since that closed 1000 above my rank, it is mentioned that they have a very good mechanical department as well. I applied for this based on nirf rankings and actually I was wishing to get this college, I was trying for nit Rourkela, nit Trichy but because of my ranking i wasn't able to get a seat in those colleges and as in my choice filling after those 2 colleges , I had filled mnit Jaipur as 3rd preference and my rank was good enough to secure a seat in this college Admission process is to write jee barch exam and apply for josaa counselling by filling your choices and wait for rounds to get your seat , once you get any seat in choices you'll be allowed to accept that seat or freeze that seat and move to next round for better college in your choices...Read More

Highly recommended

I had not applied for any other college. But I had choosed some other colleges like NIT allahabad, NIT Delhi and NIT kurukshetra in my jee council. But I got this college. And I think I got the best among them all. Eligibility critera was minimum 70% marks in 12th exams. Also, around 95 percentile in jee mains(for general) and 90 percentile around for sc/st. I am not aware of obc. However, this criteria change every year depending upon competition. Cut off was not given on marks, it was all about percentile, marks were out of 360. The people from outside were required to give some other exam. I don't have adequate knowledge of their procedure like what exam and cutoff....Read More
