What Students Say

Likes

the cmapus of the university is green and looks beautiful in monsoons
the activities which are performed here and the events taking place
the annual fest of this college Rhythm is famous and approx 20000+ people come to the fest

Dislikes

it is crowded and annoying at the same time
no class available fue to more students in each sections from 1st to last year
the mess or hostel food and facilities are very poor

Course Curriculum Overview

the course and the curriculum are different and when i selected the college i thought that i will gain practical knowledge by all the curriculum but its different the clubs are not useful and will take your whole time and it will affect your academic life.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 160000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

when i joined the college the fees was 160000 for the core branch of b. tech CSE and specialisation cost 20000 more and we need to pay fees by semester 1st sem 92500 and the next sem remaining amount and the scholarship is provide on basis of 12th and JEE percentage

Campus Life

the annual fest of JECRC named RHYTHM is the main event which is both cultural and technical fest of JECRC and in this they call many celebrities and it is fun but the crowd and management is ok and the ckubs and groups you join definitely effect the experience of your college.

Admission

when i was looking for college their were many options but the placement and the life of the college seemed to be better in JECRC but after my 1st year the experience vot worst and where ever was crowd and the construction of buildings.

Faculty

the faculties are average teachers and some are good with teaching but also they give backand the paper system changes according to the authority no mcq are available only theory and no practical knowledge is given

Night Life

the night is not their as Jaipur doesn't have night life but the college gate close at 8pm fir boys and for girls it's 6pm for those who live in hostel, their are Hackathons which happens and you can part in the Hackathon.

My straightforward Review of my college life

Placement Experience:

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

Life at Manipal -More than just a college experience

Placement Experience:

the college provide good placement and internship opportunities and the average package stays around 12-13 lpa , almost 80% students get campus placement in good companies and the exams and eligibility process is very simple - just maintain the good cgpa with good commincation skills

The placement of college is good the average package is around 5-6 lakhs and highest goes 45 lakh in 2024 and students can apply for placement from 6-7 semester. Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students get eligible for placements which is from 7th semester onwards companies start visiting our college. The companies visited yet are:- Appperfect - it selected 6 students Securemeter Limited - it selected 12 students. Advaiya - it selected 7 students. There are many companies which will visit campus soon. Till now Appperfect has provided a package of 5.5 lpa. The average package is of 4 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed is around 64. My plans are of higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In the year 2014 & 2015, there was a huge scope for people in Computer Science Engineering. There were unlimted number of possibilities for a B.tech graduate at that time. This is why, I chose B.tech Computer Science course. The curriculum will help you to deal with the exams. If you are giving graduate level exams, you will be well guided for it by the faculty. There are no smart classes or good practicals examiner which we call lab technicians which causes everyone a havoc in the labs area. The midterms are the first monthly based exams that you'll need to give in order to pass your academics. After that, Practicals and then written exams.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.

If you look by placements numbers you will find this good but if you look by placement ratio then it's crucial I would say because only in first year hey have 8000 new admissions and last year they had 2000 placements
