One for the ones who want to study

Take care as many teachers here can't speak fluent english. You have to take proper measures of self studies to perform well. As now college has earned Autonomy, attendance will be quite an issue for the new people.

MHT CET, I scored 101 and took this college as I wanted to take admin in chemical engineering only and there are limited colleges in Maharashtra for the same.

Course curriculum is set by Pune university and the course content is considered to be one of the best in India.

The college provides internships for chemical engineering students at many reputed institutions like HPCL, UHDE, NCL, BALMER-LAWRIE, RCF etc after completion of S.e. and T.e. but no stipend is provided.

Out of our batch of 60, 28 were placed with avg salary being 2.5lpa while max salary went to 6.4lpa by tata steels. Major companies: Jubilant life sciences, Honeywell inc Praj, Wipro, IMS, Reliance petrochemicals etc.

Cultural: Nakshatra 6 day event. First four days are celebrated as various days as rose day, Halloween etc. And the weekend is ends with cultural activities. Every departments celebrates their own technical fest in period of sept-oct. Chemical department celebrates Prakalp as technical event.

Expensive, but as now the college have gained autonomy, it is well worth! My fees was 1.1 lpa and had to be paid at the time of admission every year. College is quite adamant about the fees.

I availed state government scholarship for minority but college have little info about it. I have not considered taking loan so no idea.

College campus is quite small but enough. Extra curricular activities are not well welcomed here. You have to be stubborn to participate. Labs are quite good for many departments and work is going on to develop the others. No proper facilities for sports except basketball and table tennis. College conducts the biggest event in robotics in India known as Robocon alongside Doordarshan and ABU and this is the only event it boasts about. Coming to other points: Gender Ratio is quite diverse per department as IT related branches have it around 1:1-1:1.3 while mechanical related departments have around 5:1 B:G ratio. No problems about religion that I have faced. Hostel parties are boring and you got to have happening people around you. As college is in rural area, economic status of about 60% people is lower middle class. Choose your friends wisely.

Hostel is one of the best in pune but quite expensive. College mess is bad. Infact food is one problem that you may face if you aren't maharashtrian.

Alumni meeting is taken on second Saturday of December every year. Alumni network is strong. No real problem about that. Alumni do help in placements and also in curriculur if you have good friends in seniors.

Exam structure is fixed by University of Pune so can't comment about it. College does take students opinion in consideration but are helpless against university.

Faculty in the college are quite diverse. Some are the best while some are quite sub standard.
