Likes

I liked infrastructure. As the campus is huge and is very well maintained
I like cleanliness there. It is maintained properly and has dustbins all around the campus and is not untidy. Always remains clean

Dislikes

I dont like the location of the campus as it is located on highway and not in the centre of the city
I do not like their rule that students who are day scholars can not go out of the college before 3:30 pm
I do not like the fabric of summer tshirts as uniform

Course Curriculum Overview

I got to hear good review about my course so i wanted to go for it. My subjects are all practical and teachers explain everYthing practically and not theoretically. But i want that they should mark our assignments side by side and not delay the same.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I dont know about internships yet as i am in second year & college provides internship in last year of college. There are high scope of interships as many companies do visit our capmus on daily basis and employ students of the basis of their portfolio and their performance in interviews

In 7th semester students are eligible for internships there is high scope of internships as many companies do visit our campus on daily basis and employ students on the basis of their portfolio and their performance in interviews

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee in increased every year for the new batch & not the old one. The complete cost of the course currently is 7,40,000 excluding hostel charges and your other personal expenses. They does not offer any scholarships.

Campus Life

There are a lot of fests and workhops hapenning in the campus & anyone can take a part in that. Each block has its own library and the college also has a separate library which is accessible by all . There are clubs also and sport activities also available

Hostel Facilities

The facilities included are wifi , washrooms , water coolers, dustbins , wardrobe , study table , window, bed & mattress, common fridge & iron & induction Meals are good & tasty but jot hygenic & menu has a huge variety with sweet dish after.

Hostel Fee: INR 124000 per year

Admission

Anyone who has done 10+2 is eligifor this course. You can find application form and other details on their website. They do have an entrance exam which is online and anyone applying has to appear for that

Faculty

Faculty in my course is more than enough for tge department and they are very nice & sweet. One can approach to them in any difficulty or doubt . They all are very good teachers and one can learn easily from them

Placement Experience:

Yes, placement drive so comes to college it's solely on the student ability to crack their dream package. Student have opt a pretty handful package. Once again I say it's all depends upon the student to opt for INCAMPUS OR OUTCAMPUS.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The examination difficulty is depends on how you studied but in this collage difficulty level is little bit though but if you studies well then it will be easier for you and the examination halll will strict no support or no copying

An Average Chitkara Life

Placement Experience:

From my knowledge I guess from 2nd semester the students are eligible for placements and there are multiple companies visited and made offers as well even in Chitkara on daily basis companies comes such as Aditya birla group and wipro and many more umm 825000 is highest in my knowledge and percentage of students getting placement would be 100 out of 60 most probably and plans after getting degree is to study further and doing masters from abroad

I choosed this curriculum because i liked it but half the college year was in covid which was online classes so we didn't get much of practical knowledge as that was very important in our course and when i see this batch and compare to my batch i see this time they are more good in teaching everything and to our batch they didn't focus much

Think once to take admission in Chandigarh University.

Placement Experience:

Companies are come for hiring students. But for our departments they are very less companies comes. Last year in interior design only 4 students were placed. And in design department the highest placement package is 7LPA only.

one of best university in india

Remarks:

CU is very big university so if someone has some problem it may take some time to resolve but it will resolve for sure. ci have student care center which is open 24x7 and where anyone can share their problem or complaint against anyone every student is allowed to meet higher authority directly some things which I don't like is the behaviour of security guard but then I think they all are doing it for us only.

I have applied in lpu,chandigarh University and chitkara university, i got confirmation for admission from lpu but i choose chitkara over lpu because of the croud numbers of students intake in cse branch in lpu its approx 10,000 students but in chitkara its 3000 only that why i choose this over that.yes i got rejected from punjab university as i got less marks in jee mains.the admission process of chitkara university is very simple you call college admissions office they will assigned you one counselor then you can ask any questions about college in details then he will give you online admission form link fill it and send to him done simple...Read More

I applied for Chitkara University Rajpura Campus. Lpu and cu university also but there is so many students crowd so I did not attend them. Admission Criteria was simple for this year especially.
