What Students Say
Likes
- The campus was aesthetic and attractive one could easily appreciate the appearance of the campus.
- The university had good security and safety protocols. The proctor unlike other colleges was active and working.
- The university had a decent focus on extra co curriculum
Dislikes
- The contractual staff was pathetic and little to no knowledge of what teaching in a class of big boys and girls meant.
- The university is keen on earning rather than providing. The fines imposed and the fee structure of the campus cannot be affordable for every one.
- Teachers enjoy more power and luxury over students for example the busses that ply on different routes have seats arranged for teachers and staff and the students are made to keep standing.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is based on the current module of educational and research programmes. The university intends on covering both practical and theoretical aspects of each field. Frequent periodical examinations with every semester exam occurring once in every six months. Faculty student ratio is also pretty decent of 1:12
Fees and Financial Aid
Being a semi government run university the fee structure is a little too high . A bachelor in engineering pays round about 70000 rupees per year as tuition fees excluding transportation food and examination fees. In a three year bachelor course of honours i paid a total of 1 lakh and ten thousand approximately excluding the transportation, accommodation and examination fees. No scholarships were brought into our notice from the campus
Campus Life
The university held important events and orogrammes that had a political intrest . It celebrated days like international yoga day, world anti tobacco day etc but gave less importance to cultural and traditional events. The library is excellent. The non teaching staff of the camous overall is pathetic they have no sympathy for students time money and efforts. The university is very lazy when it comes to correcting their errors and is very active when it comes to the mistakes of students
Admission
The eligibility earlier used to be an entrance test framed by the university itself but since past year it has come under the NTA and the seats are provided after appearing and clearing a certain cut-off in cuet examination.
Faculty
The faculty of the campus overall is pretty decent but talking about our department it lacked finess. The contractuals appointed could not do justice to the syllabus and the teaching. The pandemic along with the state tensions gave us a very little window of experiencing every minute details but i guess this would suffice
