Remarks

Students from any stream can apply for the course. All the details are available on college website. It would be better if you refer the college website for accurate information on application fees and dates.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

6 subjects each semester and only two branding/advertising subjects till 4th semester. 2022 batch is the first batch for BBA Branding and Advertising in MCC. So I feel all the experiments happens on the first batch to understand what works for the course and what not.

Internships Opportunities

0.5

The college do provide internship opportunities here and there. The opportunities that come into the college are usually fair (with fair stipend and space to learn). The opportunities are not consistent so I'd suggest you to network and look for internships off campus.

Placement Experience

3

I'm in my third year of college and the placements just begins in the third year so I'm not qualified to tell you the exact average annual package. But from what I have observed and heard from my seniors, companies with good package do come to college. The year I joined, a student bagged a job opportunity with the annual package of 21 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee for 2022 batch was ?185000. But it has been significantly increased by year 2024 (ever since MCC became co-ed). The complete cost of your education, including tution, blazer fees and other compulsory charges would be approximately ?650000 or less. .

Campus Life

4

The annual festival of MCC is called Cul-ah, which is an interesting collegiate fests, with amazing opportunities of DJ night till 9 or 10 p.m. within the college premises which is no doubt fun. The college has 67 associations and you can be a part of the core team from your first year so good luck if something interests you.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The college hostel prioritises catholic students first. There's a low chance of students from other backgrounds to get a hostel room. Nonetheless, you can book PG near college. There are many girls' PG in the same area and some of them are pretty good.

Faculty

4

One mentor is assigned from college for each batch and you'll have visiting faculties for branding and advertising subjects. The visiting faculties are immensely experienced professionals who their industry very well. They teach with real life examples for you to understand the real world better.

Interview Experience

4.5

The admission process was slightly hard. Once you fill the application, you get the dates for an interview. It'll be basically a group discussion. Two mentors from Miles SoBA will interview a group of 4-5 students in a group about your basic knowledge of brands and advertisements. The question could be like 'what is your favourite brand?', 'why do you like this particular brand?' etc.

The placements starts just few months before the final semester exams. More than 80 percent of the students got placement from the college every year . And if there is any backlogs then can't do anything. My plan is to pursue MBA aviation afterwards and got placed in any airline.

The college guarantees 100% placements and they are good. students are eligible for campus placements from 2nd year The companies are the big 4 or 5 and maybe other reputed companies Highest package has been 20Lakh and the lowest could be 3-4L As such I'm not sure about the percentage but you would be needing 85-90% maybe After getting the degree I would work and also give time to my start up idea

Placement Experience:

Placements do come in college but don't expect any good placements from this college. In our batch sales jobs were promoted more rather than marketing and HR. And also if someone expects good packages as a fresher than you should keep in mind that the industry is really vast so build up proper skills by taking knowledge as a fresher in your 2 years. Don't run behind money
