Dislikes
- The administration of Aligarh Muslim University is sometimes very Slow i.e you have to make a run for easy works regarding your administrative problems
- The Placements here are somewhat low as compared to other central univerisities like DU, JMI etc
Course Curriculum Overview
A student is made to study proper content of thier course and is taught all the relevant skills regarding their course and are trained practically which can help in making his/her future in a successful direction .
Internships Opportunities
The training and placement office of AMU provides certain internships regarding to the events organized by them . Every department of the faculty have a responsibile training officer who provides the students the opportunity of various internships.
Placement Experience
Placements are moderate here . Many companies including big mncs come for the Placement drive thorugh an internal body of the university i.e Training and Placement Office . The packages provided by companies are of medium level . As the Aligarh city is a developing city so here the amount of companies and skilled workforce is not in that much amount so the packages offered by the companies are of medium level.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is very affordable for every course and the fees is paid annually for every course e.g if a course is of 3 years so you have to pay the fees in three installments . University provide numerous scholarships which aid the students financially.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the university is eye witnessing and cherishable as the university have a over 100 years of history so the architecture is very adorable and hearts capturing. The social parity between the students is very good as AMU is known for its culture and ethics . Hostels of AMU provides you much opportunities to engage in different clubs like music , drama , sports etc . Every hostel have its canteen and other facilities as well
Admission
The admissions are done through their own entrance which generally consists of 100 marks . Every course have its own cut off and this cut off varies every year . Their are certain reservation seats like child of employee, Alumni etc and the cutoff for the internal and external students also varies.
Faculty
The faculty of Aligarh Muslim University is outstanding. The professor here are highly skilled PHD holders with maximum of them having JRF qualified. They have records of maintaining very good academic experience and given AMU lots of flourishing moments , even internationally
