TISS made my life very beautful, after coming to this institute i have learn and relearn new thing about society.

TISS all India entrance examination which was divided in to two steps first written exam and second is personal interview

It was well designed and relevant to the present social realities. The curriculum has classroom teaching and field visitation which help student to learn theory in to classroom and test/practice that in to field.

We didn't had any internship during our time, since we are the first batch of the course we didn't get any fellowship opportunities but faculties provide contacts of some of the internship organisation. stipend was depending on the nature of the organisation.

We do have placement cell for our center, which is run by students and one of the faculty member coordinate. We had NGOs working on women's issue they come for placement and they were offering minimum Rs. 20, 000 PM, Some of us goes for higher studies and some of us found their own placement.

We had following college events1. Institute Day- Sports and cultural events2. School Festivals- Debts, lectures and cultural programmee. 3. Counseling center Melaetc.

Fee is affordable to all the candidates and its very cheap as this institute provide very good facilities and located to metropolitan city. SC, ST OBC candidates gets GOI fellowship so they don't have to pay any fee instead of medical insurance and development fee which is very affordable to all.

SC, ST and OBC category students gets Government of India scholarship other than that banks like SBI, CBI offers education lone to the students. Getting lone form bank is very essay process.

Campus life is very good, we had more girls than boys in the campus. we had lots of extracurricular activities. there is 0 tolerance for ragging in the campus.

Room are very posh, everyday hostel attendant come to clean the room and hostel has full wifi which is also high speed. toilets are very clean and it is comfortable living place.

We had alumni association and had office in campus. This alumni association conduct alumni meet very frequently. Alumni meet help student to explore job opportunities.

Exam pattern like 60 percent of written exam (old style)and 40 percent is classroom presentation and assignments.

Our course faculty was highly qualified most of them are having Phd in related field and very knowledgeable in their subject. They were having good amount of field experience which help them to guide us better. Teaching style of faculty is very student fr
