Likes

Location of the college is very good also a good natural environment we get.
Nearby railway station so easy accessible
Teachers are good, help us for our future studies.

Dislikes

Behavior of some teachers towards students
Lab are not good so we face many problem during the lab class
Many equipments are absent, so we are not able to do our practical class properly

Course Curriculum Overview

Basically i love biology. I am interested in it and zoology is the mother subject so i choose this course The curriculum prepares us very good for real-world applications Lab area should improve more No we are satisfied with it.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 36000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee should not be increased because not everyones financial conditions are good. Around 20000 a year including tuition fees 18000 per year, we get this from swami vivekananda scholarship after getting 60? marks Campus are not good.

Campus Life

Nabin baran, basanta utsab, holi and many more festivals are celebrated by our college and it is very enjoyable Library condition is too good Sports competition are held by our college Student portal should be improved more.

Student should get good marks on 12th on the basis of the marks students got admitted sequentially Not available Not it is not so difficult we should get good marks if we learn a little more Work should more faster

Faculty

Faculty of student is very low, many students are looking for Competitive examinations. Many students got admitted just for their degree not for learning. We interact with teacher properly, we have to maintain our daily routine for our internal number.

Placement Experience:

People who major in my department usually opt for masters over placement not because of this college but because overall industrial or academic opportunities are better with a pg degree. Masters from this college is not recommended as i have heard so from my seniors. Some of my seniors managed to crack competitives and secure MSc seats at great places. Training and Placement cell had a good coordinator previously but now its almost non existent. Companies do come and hire Bpharm, Mpharm and MSc candidates. Packages are below average. Only Nestle pays well. But if you do well you'll eventually climb up the corportate ladder. From the time i am here i have not heard of any BSc candidate getting placed. Most go for higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Completely relevant. As the college is autonomous it has its own syllabus. Which matches with the net gate jam exam syllabus. When someone came our college for seminar they strange that we know this much. Exam are quite difficult in 2 months interval.

Coochbehar College Review

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Sc Computer Science Faculty: Student ratio is = 4:23 may vary a bit Faculty are well Qualified & Teaching method is okay good, but not to the mark like very good or excellent. The exam term was timely (sometimes it gets a bit late due to some natural disaster like cyclone, heavy rainfall, etc or any govt. & university delays), and the exam level is nearly too difficult, something like in between moderate to difficult.

Admission:

I applied for my course available in this college via online mode. As everything was depended upon merit, we didn't have any entrance exam or interviews. I got my name there in the merit list. I had my interest in maths thus I got admission.

Admission:

I had filled all the forms online. They create an account for you where you get all your admission information. As I had 89% marks, I do not had to give entrance exam and interview. The admission was quite easy for me. I just had to visit the college once and submit the demand draft and some forms, after which the admission was done. I just had to go to the university and attend classes.
