I pursued my 12th in commerce stream and I wanted to make my career as a Chartered Accountant. So I opted for B.Com(hons) so that It will benefit my CA career as well. And there In BHU I met many students who were pursuing same feild so I got for them as well to move ahead in the career. Semester exams in BHU are bit tough. Mainly exam are at the end of the semester consisting of 6 subjects.

Companies like EY and Kothari corps which are fintech based company offered internship in Internal Auditor role which was of 4 months in Gurugram and stipend was 15k per month. Decathlon provided internship in store management and sales manager with stipend of 5k per month in Varanasi for 2 months. Some small startup like Insukoon, Socially cupid also provided internship opportunity in Social media manager feild.

After 5th semester students becomes eligible for campus placement.There must have passed in all the semester till 5th semester. Companies visited were EY, Decathlon, Kothari corps etc. Highest package that was offered was 7 l.p.a by EY for the profile of Internal Auditor. And package offered were 3l.p.a for the job role of accountant or sales manager. Around 80% of students got placed but they didn't opted for the job as in B.COM you don't get much of exposure so mostly students opts for MBA or other additional courses as their career options

Tution fees is BHU is around 3000 per year for pursuing B COM(HONS). And it's very nominal tution fees and can be affordable for every student. Other services consisted of Hostel facility, transport facility etc. Hostel charges were 4000 per year and transport charges inside the campus was free. Financial aids were provided to financialy weak students or to students whose father wasn't alive. Aid amount was upto 20,000 along with free meals for complete courses in the college hostel. Job roles mostly consisted of Sales manager, Stock accountant, Auditor, digital marketing, Social media manager etc.

There were several events organised in the campus throughout the year some of them are VANAKAM VARANASI, COMMERCE CARNIVAL, RANGOLI etc. VANAKAM VARANASI is the biggest cultural event of the college which helds in the month of September. COMMERCE CARNIVAL in the month of November. And Rangoli in the the month of Holi festival. BHU library is of the biggest library as well as has the most number of collection of books. It also consista of E-library. Sports tournament are held every year. Hostel versus hostel,Stream vs stream . In the field of cricket, football, chess ,kabbadi, arma wrestling, basketball, volleyball are some of the games.

Eligibility of the course is that the must have passed class 12th with 60% marks all over to avail for sitting for the college selection exam. Application are available in the CUET-UG portal. Application fees is around 400-500 per college you choose in the exam. Application dates starts from February to March. You also gets reservation benefits in BHU specially to girls. 60% of seats in BHU is reserved for girls. Reservation are also allowed for OBC,SC,ST,EWS etc.

Faculty to students ratio is around 1:25. And they are mostly available for our help. If they are not available they have there subordinatea to watch out for our problems. Teachers are mostly of old age having experience over more than 16 years. And they are the authors of the books used for our studies in college.
