- College environment is good and the teachers are also supportive outside the class
- We have free periods, we can go to library, sports and mentoring session
- Every week they conduct either guest lectures, quizzes or tech competitions
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not the best, there could be a lot of improvement for labs, ground and auditorium
- Course curriculum is not relevant to tech industry
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for this course because I was interested about computer science and apparently it was the most demanding one. But in reality the circullum in this college is not much relevant to the tech industry. I think they should focus way more on the tech aspect which makes students tech industry ready by the time they graduate.
Placement Experience
In our college, placements are not too scarce, around 70%+ students get placed every year. And they get placed in good tech companies too, but the average package is pretty low, around 3 lakh per annum. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra recruited students from our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Me personally, I joined the college only because it was nearby me and also it has the least fee structure in the city. I joined through management quota. My fee is 75000/- Rs per year. Compared to other colleges this is slightly affordable.
Campus Life
I'd say my overall experience in the college is not too bad. We have annuals days once an year, Tech fests mostly on either year beginning or year ending. And then there's frequent contests, quizzes, and guest lectures. Library is decent, 90%+ books in it are relevant to the circullum. We gave clubs like Techical, Sports, Cultural, etc.
Admission
In the admission process, you would either have to write the EAMCET exam and qualify in it and apply for counselling in the desired branch. Or, you could join through management quota which ofcourse, would cost you more than the counselling students. (I joined through management quota).
Faculty
I'd say that my overall experience in this college is, pretty average, very rarely do they conduct technical fests, but frequently some other contests, quizzes. Guest lectures are also kinda common around here. Library is decent. 90% of the books in it are circullum relevant. But I'd say that the classrooms are pretty old school, with the blackboard, non existent digital tech in classrooms.
