Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum facilitates my current interest and prepares me for future goal. It involves giving real life examples and inculcating their general solutions. It could use some work by broadening the target content. The exams are relatively easy and we go through one pre finals and a final exam every semester

Internships Opportunities

2

I haven't really gotten any internship opportunities from our college and there's no campus employment as far as i know. The college is deciding to hold a placement cell soon and provide opportunities for the students

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid a total of 90,000 excluding the exam fee which is subjective based on certain aspects like reservation, yearly income and your performance. I paid 300 for my semester exams. As of now, there's no scholarships Or campus employment that I've heard of

Campus Life

4.5

The college hosts various social events throughout the academic year, from celebrating festivals of every religion to street plays regarding social awareness. The library is well stocked in terms of books required for the students and their subjects. Research papers and articles are also available. The sports department is new but shows great promise. There are 5 clubs and the students can opt for more than one if they are interested

Admission

The eligibility criteria states that the applicant must have finished their 12th with above 80% in any of the Indian boards. Offline and online application through website is available. Once the application is done the college office will give you a call detailing the interview process and documents required. The interview is easy and mostly centered on your interests and previous goals. You'll be given an entrance exam. If you get in you'll get a call walking you through the admission process. There's a concession for reservation categories

Faculty

5

The faculty like i mentioned before are highly qualified for the subject they teach. For every 30 students, there's one teacher for each subject. For every 5 students 1 of them is appointed as a mentor. They actively involve in the student's academic life and encourage to confess personal concerns. Highly approachable regarding academics or otherwise

Course Curriculum Overview:

Now the syllabus has changed. New emerging technologies trends and subjects are introduced in new curriculum. Data science, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security are now taught. Practical marks are reduced to 50 marks. Term end examinations are conducted twice in a year. Exams are not that difficult. Usually previous year questions appear in the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Placement Experience:

First of all, there isn't a passed out batch yet(as of 2025). The first batch enrolled in 2023 and they are currently in internship period as they've planned. Placement will be offered at the end of 4th year. Although for internships, around 50+ companies visited and 96% of students got internships. The average stipend was 30,000 INR and the highest stipend was 200,000 INR (non-domestic). My plans after getting the degree are to gain some experience and go for a masters in business if possible.

Placement Experience:

The placement scene in this college is promising, especially for students pursuing B.Sc and M.Sc programs. it has a dedicated placement and training cell that actively prepares students for the recruitment process by mock interviews. students become eligible for placements in final year. the top recruiting companies includde infosys, wipro, cognizant etc. On an average 50 to 60% of eligible students get placed with the remaining either pursuing higher education or looking for opportunities in civil service or elsewhere. My plans after my graduation is to pursue masters in forensic science in NFSU and then to work in the FSLs
