What Students Say

Likes

The campus is green and vibrant in terms of environment
The canteen and hostel facilities are good, since both girls and boys hostel is the the college campus
The seats available are fewer and hence makes up for the lesser students = more attention

Dislikes

The fact the college was a master's college and the UG term was issued only at 2021.
There are a lot of last minute notices in terms of cultural activities
The Staff members are not very permanent.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was a very easy and thought upon decision for me because this has been my aim since 2016, the curriculum of Bangalore North University is quite unsteady, but in terms of potions and vastness, it stands out. The course curriculum can be improved with regular checkups in terms of the delay in terms and examination corrections. The exams are quite easy and not that difficult at all, the only thing you need to focus on is how you can elaborate a sentence into a paragraph. Like even if the question is a 2-mark question but given for 5 marks, you got to know how to elaborate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure depends on which course your from, is states then lesser and if isc or cbse its more. If you have quota or certificate of merit that can be applied as well. Like siblings or sports. My fees came around 1 lakh 15 thousand for one yr (if states syllabus or lower caste quota is there 95 thousand) Internships is to be applied by students, and Scholarship is provided for student above 8.8 or so gpa The fees structure can be paid in 2 installments. 50/50.

Campus Life

The campus life is very chill, compared to other colleges, like you will have minimum freedom. And not enormous restrictions like other colleges, we have many cultural activities and a number of different fests going on with educational seminars that are held. We have a student council, and various clubs like ecoclub, cultural club, Hindi club and everything. There are students representatives for the grievances and any problem related enquiries.

Admission

The eligibility for the course is 12th and 10th pass students. The application form is available at the reception of the college, pls ask all the related documents to be brought by them, the application fees is 1500/- which is to be paid online. The application opening will be on the website. (Reservation will be done after paying the fees) There will be semester end final exams by the Bangalore University along with mid term or pre final examination, conducted by the college.

There are 30 students in my course and it's a lot earlier to handle for 1 teacher. (regarding the attention and selective attention to students) Voices of concern is carried out easily since it's a small number and teachers are quite easy and friendly to talk to. There are a lot of well-qualified teachers handling the faculty and students

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

The course i choose is bsc because of the different subjects in this course it has electronics and computer science . The curriculum prepares me by special courses and the new ways of teaching. The methods of teaching is good but we need new ways like learning with games. The timing of exam is 3 hours for eights marks, and the difficulty is the benches are not comfortable

Peaceful College And Campus Life

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students get eligible for campus placement, No of companies such as Cipla, infosys,accenture, TCS, wipro, Icici bank have visited our college, provide placements and 90% students get placed in reputed companies. My plan after finishing my Bsc ,i will opting for MSc Biotechnology, then a PhD.I will become a professor.

My journey in Christ University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

The Montfort Experience

First It is mandatory to have a bachelor's in psychology or a pg diploma. Otherwise you can also apply through the Bangalore North University by Counseling process. For Masters basic psychology knowledge can be useful for the course. I had an entrance exam and then an Interview. The exam was written MCQ and not very difficult but the selection process mainly is based on interview performance. Very simple and easy admission process. Life at Montfort College

One has to have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology to apply for this course. In which the student is required to have a percentage score above 50%. The application details which include the form, guidelines, and the dates will be put up on the College's Website. After the completion of the application process, the College will send a mail containing the following information: Date of Entrance Exam, Portions to be covered for the exam, and the Schedule of the Entrance exam. The Entrance exam will begin with a written test, after which the students will be called for a personal interview and then the student will be asked to participate in a group discussion.
