Entrance Preview
I would like to study in south India, hence I start preparation for cusat cat entrance exam, luckily I got examination center Kolkata there is 150 objective question, I have attempted 80 to 85 question and I got AIR-48 and got chance to the main campus called DCA(Department of computer application).
Course Curriculum Overview
after getting admission, get hostel accommodation facility. will find little bit problem to get hostel. but after 5 month will get a sheet in sarovar hostel, and my first day of collage i got syllabus and all book from collage library, it is easy process. you will get 6 card means you can get 6 books every semester from collage. after completion you have to return back it
Internships Opportunities
No actually DCA depart has no any own placement cell it totally depends on BTech placement cell they allow mca guy to attend company exam.
Placement Experience
if you are through out 60 then you can got opportunity to sheet different company interview. like tcs, wipro, arecent,... if not then very less option to get placed from there. even i can say it is not good as placement. but even you will got job outside. one more option there shress kerla they conduct company exam.
College Events
there are not much events happend in my time but onam and dipabli celebration is happens. actually onam is their own festival so student collect money and collage fund also help them and allow one day celebration. we are north indian people so we are also get permission to celebrate diwali.
Fee Structure And Facilities
it is not too much but it vary semester wise odd semester around 42k-47K around but there one extra facility for sc st student and top 10 ranked people scholer ship. so overy all fee is very less in compare to other. hostel chages is also less. around 165rs per month
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes if you belongs to keral and your case is sc or st. you will get scholar ship. your semester fees around 5k -7k thats it. or if you are top ranker you also get scholarship
Campus Life
overy all i already share the details is good. i like all facility that given by collage like hostel. there was indoor game like table tenis, carom, volly boll... etc and out side game like cricket ground bad mental court. even you can also ply at night.
Hostel Facilities
hostel facility is very good there are 3-4 hostel that is sarovar, sanatna,b-tech,siberia these are the name of hostel. fee is very less for hostel that is 165 rs only there maintains is good ply ground is also available. so you can enjoy more. i like this kind of hostel
Alumni/Alumna
after completed the course. they call us as alumni meet. but i can't reach there. but i have still a group on facebook.
Exam Structure
there are totally 3 exams will helds on semester. two was internal exam one external. internal depends on how many moduls has been completed by faculty. and marks evaluated by internal faculty only. so further if you not satisfy with you marks you can re-evaluate you copy. they show your copy to check your marks
Faculty
as i already tell it is very easy process to collect books from collage. there are two library one inside DCA department from there every semester you have to collect semester books and additional also. one other library was there that called central library there many collection of books you can study there it self or carry any books to read later
