Course Curriculum Overview

I choosed this course as i have grown interest in the devices used in our day to day life ..today everyone uses smartphones and smart devices so i want to learn more about it and also contribute to our industries related..the teaching methods in SCP are quite good as the teachers are helpful and the difficulty level of the exams is also medium

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 34000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees for 1 semester that is six months is 17,000 so for 1 year it will be 34,000...then the diploma course is for 3 years and we can also join from 2nd year If we have opted for science in 10+2 ..we also get scholarship aid from government like SVM and OASIS and also stifend for railways whose home is far ..

Campus Life

The college helds an annual fest everyyear and students actively participates in every activities along with the annual sports held where students participate very enthusiastically..we also get sufficient amount of books in our libraries for our courses .

Admission

We can enter directly through the SCP college website or by filling it up manually after going college..and we can also apply through entrance exams for polytechnic colleges..the eligibility criteria is we can join after class 10 or giving after 12 and also after doing ITI equivalent courses and job candidates are also eligible..the admission process is very simple

We can connect and interact with our teachers on daily basis and consult with them ..and they provide us required notes for our courses and also they always are ready to help us and clear our doubts of our chapters and their reffered books are also very helpful for our semester exams

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers are very sincere for the students and they gave us suggestions for every exams and help in any kind of study related problems. I guess it's a little difficult to get pass in the college many students got backlog in this year specially in physics department.

Placement Experience:

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Overall a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in the final year of the diploma course. Most companies like Wipro TCS visit our college. The average package is 5 lahks and 90 percent of students got placed in every branch.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for campusing. Badve autotech pvt ltd. A1 fence products pvt. Ltd. Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.
