Course Curriculum Overview
I decided to go for mechatronics because the name itself made it interesting. The curriculum was well adjusted making it 50 percent practical and 50 percent theory. There were all types of labs present from CNC machines to machines to robotics machines. We were provided with various industrial trainings. The paper timings were good, we had two 25-mark periodic tests and one term-end examination. The improvement I would want would be a proper staff for the course as we had to prepare on our own for various subjects
Internships Opportunities
Recent companies were MAHINDRA AND MAHINDRA LTD with a 14,000 stipend GILBARCO VEEDER ROOT with 17,000 stipends for first year, 18,000 for second and 19,000 for third CEAT LTD - 15,000 stipend for one month and many more
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee- 6000/- per year if you are in the open category and less for other castes. In the first year you have to pay 9000/- tution fees but children with specific castes can opt for scholarships every year, which makes them pay very less. No campus employment takes place here. total fees for my education was 21,000 with uniform cost 900, bicycle stand cost 350 and many more
Campus Life
The annual fest - AVISHKAR, typically held in February The women's day fest. And many more take place under different clubs. The library only consists of books related to our branch and we can take only one book per week the sports festival usually takes place in January/September.
Admission
For taking admission you need to fill out the diploma CAP round. To find the details for it, just download the MAHA-CET-CELL app on Play Store, it consists of all the information necessary. It takes place by DTE and if you are in the open category you would need above 80 per cent to be admitted to this branch
Faculty
There are many good teachers who'll make your learning easy. Mostly the HOD's put in everything so that the students get proper education. For a class with 20-30 students, every subject had a different teacher. We were allowed to go to the respective teacher's staffroom if we had any queries regarding the subject. But for new branches like mechatronic and aiml, there was seen a shortage of staff, and graduated 22 year olds were hired as subs to the orignal teacher who didn't take their work seriously
