Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum of few subjects are great but few subjects are out of the world. The exams are held in a interval of 3 months( for sem exams) whereas progressive test is done in every 1½ month. The papers are solvable and can we really easy if studied well

Internships Opportunities

5

Projects are made by the group in the 5th sem to showcase them in the events. External come and rate the project and on this basis we get marks for our our project. Later, we have to show them to the companies where we have our interest in

Placement Experience

5

After 6 semester students are eligible for campus placement. Several companies came are Tata, Mahindra, autolive which offered 3 to 4 lpa. The highest package as are 4-5lpa, I really don't know the company. The lowest package are 2.5 lpa The percentage of students getting placement is less, it's almost 20-30 percent My plan after getting degree is to do engineering

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of our course is the same for every year i.e 5750/- for each year ( as i am obc) The fees for general is around 10000/- per year And for sc/st it's about 1200/-per year Each category get's the scholarship except general For OBC it's 5750 per year Whereas for sc it's 12000 per year

Campus Life

5

Each branch organize their respective events all over the year whereas the annual events i.e ( avishkar) is held in the month of Jan-feb The library has a vast range of books related to each subject that has been taught in the college Ibs and ips are two major sports events in which various sports are done at inter-college and state level

Admission

I really wanted to take admission in this college because it's Government and at the same time an autonomous institute. Which is a great benefit for overall percentage in final year. Government College offers less fees and also has a great education and surroundings, that's why i wanted to take admission in only Government polytechnic

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is 4:6 the faculty are great and support events same time they also help us and guide as whenever we needed I liked almost all the faculty but kaur mam raut mam , bawane mam are few of them who are really great Because of their way of handling students I really don't like alaspure and bhange sir and all the college could agree with me just because of their rude attitude

Night Life

5

Hostel might not be the best place to visit during night because it may get you suspended for roaming there The chai-sutta bar, bar code are few places where we can hangout with friends The locality is safe so, no need to worry about

Placement Experience:

Placements are not so good. In order to get a good package you must have a good cgpa around 7-8. If you have a good cgpa. You can get a good job offer with a annual pay for 5-6 lakhs. I plan to do btech/be after diploma. That,ll help me get a good placement. I can do btech here only if i manage to get enough percentage in my final year. If i couldn't i plan to get admission in keystone school of engineering which is a good college for engineering degree. Mostly infotech and proazure hire the most. There are other companies too. Around 60 percent students get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Rating of course curriculum of my college (PCP) the scale :- 1-5 | 5 = Excellent. • Relevance - 3.5/5(industry aligned but need modernization). • Comprehensiveness - 3/5(Cover basics but lacks interdisciplinary depth) Key aspects influencing course :- 1). Technical foundation - core engineering discipline(mechanical, civil, computer, etc)with a focus on fundamental skill. 2). Practical training - labs, workshop and internship linked to local industries. 3). Affordability and accessibility - polytechnic program at PCP are cost- effective and provide early entry into technical careers. My college has a robust foundation for technical education but requires strategic update to stay competitive.

Placement strategies is different for every department. Like most computer engineering students wants higher education. Mechanical, civil and automobile students not that much interested in higher education. Teachers of placement department are very active in there work they gave us more information and counseling like who have to get higher education and who gave to be placed. Students fills a google form which os about students placements, according to that they know how many students are interested in placement and higher education. Companies like TATA, VPRO and other are came for campus in our college various tests and interviews are taken then salary and other things are discussed. Many students get pass in interview. The ratio is about to 30% students get placed every years from campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is the heart of a student’s college or advanced learning experience. Curriculum is a college or university’s primary means of guiding students directions. Curricula should be reviewed and revised on a regular basis, better to serve the changing needs of both students and society. We are often urged to reassess the quality of our curricula. Faculties are responding to this challenge by turning their attention to long neglected issues. They are doing so as a practical means of both attracting and retaining more students, ensuring their success, and producing high quality, fair outcomes for everyone.
