IIT Mandi Review

The course curriculum is really vast and comprehensive. Each course is given a difficult level which commonly goes upto 5 or 6, which are considered really tough. He ce, students have the option to select courses based on their difficulty and it is also a factor which tells how vast the course is gonna be.

Many companies start coming from mid July to get thr best students fof internship. Stats are pretty good. Top recruiters include Google, Microsoft, IBM, Sprinkler, HDFC, Flipkart and much more. Students need to be preapred from the startto bad the opportunities.

Placements stats are good for the college. Average packages: CSE : 30Lpa DSE : 25Lpa Electrical : 20Lpa Mechanical : 18Lpa As we can see, these all the stats of average packages of some well known branches ans these are good enough for a fresh placement. But currently due to recession, most of the students are unable to get placements and hence need to apply off campus to secure their future. With time, getting placements is getting much morw difficult.

For the fee structure, each semester, students need to pay around 1lakh 30thousands, which include their tution, hostel and mess fees. Their ars various scholarship programmes for girls, and cast students.

The clubs are really really active. The conducy sessions and based on them form a new core team to handle the club. Campus life is pretty chill and good. Seniors are really friendly and supportive. Sports and other extracurricular activities are really gokd in the campus. Proper coaches are available for each sport.

Hostels are a bit messy. There are a lot of tap leakages, breakage and drainage. Toilets are never cleaned properly and it gets really dirty with time. Facility of hot water in some hostels is not upto the mark. Though the rooms are good.

For IIT Mandi, the admission process it quite simole. You need to apply via Josaa counselling. If your applicagion is considered, you will be given a personal institute email id and will be given all the necessary details. You will also be given mentors to help you out.

The faculty memvers are well educated and have their proper methods of teaching. Variety of courses are offered even from a single faculty member, each student has the freedom to choose the course he/she prefers, conditioned that he/she must complete optimal credits.
