Likes

Teaching faculty is good. The college infrastructure is also good
Which includes library, canteen, sprawling grounds, heritage buildings, botanical gardens and a swimming pool.

Dislikes

Also Acadmic progress here for students can not achieve

For BCom, there are two subject options here for the second year. Business administration and costing and other options are not available. Language options are also German and Marathi, other languages are not available. The exams are held semester-wise.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For special category students the scholarship is available in which you have to fill specific form to avail that scholarship, for open category students the fees is more. Also campus placement are available but you really have to be kept track for that process and only few students they selected according to their percentage criteria

Campus Life

The college library is available for that you have specific card. For library they issue specific books. For all faculty the annual function is there inwhich miss and mr sp these titles are given. For commerce students the specific Event is there which is called maven inwhich some entrepreneur get invite for talk. And also students have the opportunity to to show their entrepreneur skills by having their own stalls in fest

Hostel Facilities

It is good, In admission process you have to fill the details for hostel accommodation. The hostel accommodation is affordable for students, but renting Pg is more effective because of the poor service of hostel accommodation

Admission

The percentage criteria is at least 60-79 percent. You can find the application form on their website after the 12th result. The dates announced on their website for admission.no exam is taken for this course.

The ratio of students is more than teachers. Because of that the learning experience is average. But teacher faculty is good interacting with students. And well experienced with their qualifications.All over experience is good

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Well as a ca student i chose this degree as to complete my graduation. The course contains various subjects that are practically used and are pragmatic like accounting,finance,etc. The exams are held twice(as semesters) and there is a final exam at the end of every semester.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.

I applied in this college because it is government college and is situated in the heart of the city where it was very easy to reach in addition there are many hostels nearby so the area is very reachable.
