Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I was keen towards MBBS course from my childhood. As I'm a 2nd yr student, The present curriculum has no major effect towards the real world application. Use of more diagrams and stress on explaining in a pictorial manner would be more effective rather than the regular paragraph of textual form There are weekend exams every Friday, and internal assessment exams in every 2 months and finally the university exam The difficult is mod to high level

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Intership is compulsory after 4.5 yrs of mbbs course in the same college in every department for 1 month. Stipend is nearly 15 to 20 thousand per month. Research facilities are also available during the internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee for government seat is 51000, for private seat is 13lakhs and NRI seat is 26 lakhs For government seat it will cost around 7 to 8 lakhs and for private it's 70 lakhs Scholarships are not provided by college Stipend is available for the internship

Campus Life

4.5

Zonal CME are conducted, freshers day, ethinic day, sports day are conducted All kind of journals and books are available in library, it's a best library. Sports club is also present, interested students can participate in it, there is no fees for that

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel provides room with 2 lights , 1 fan, 4 shelves, 2 beds, 2 tables and 2 chair . Ac can be used by paying more fees Mess food is good only in morning and afternoon. Dinner is not at all good Registeration for hostel is done in college after addmission in offline procedure and mostly its affordable. Pg and rented rooms are available near to college.

Admission

12th pass with cutoff marks in Neet UG Application form is available in NTR university website during counseling process. Reservation is provided as per NTA guidelines Weekend exams are conducted every Friday, and internal examination in every 2 months, difficulty is mod to high level . There is no exam for addmission apart from Neet UG Every thing is clear, no need of improvement

Faculty

3.5

There are nearly 7 to 15 faculties per department for 250 students. But they devide the batch into 2 groups and each group is further divided into units, so the faculty to student ratio is nearly 1:6. Faculties are highly educated, and they teach very good. Interaction with the faculties are very easy, we even can message them and can ask doubts personally.

Other Applied Colleges

NRI Medical College - [NRIAS] | Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

I got the college in second round, but it would cost me more if I opt for slide up

The time table of the circulum is best but they can still make it better by adding some revision classes for theory too. They have revision classes for practicals only . The classes are too fast so atleast they should add one revision class

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only. Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.

The staff and the teaching make us feel happy for choosing this field. They give us pandemic modules and give us early clinical exposure so we can learn things earlier. But the teaching must not just stick on to classes but we need clinical training.
