Remarks

I think the college should become completely autonomus and seperate from CSVTU so that it can revise the current curriculum

Entrance Preview

Because it is the best private college in chhattisgarh and has very good reputation. It has some very experienced faculties which is rare in most colleges in chhattisgarh. Also the college is very near to my residence. It is the only private college in this state to be accredited by nba and naac both.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is designed by csvtu which is the only known technical university in chhattisgarh. The curriculam becomes very hectic with all the assignments, projects, class tests. We generally have 6 theory and 4 practical subjects in every semester and the evaluation is not very fare. The internal marks are given on the basis of attendance

Internships Opportunities

As far as i know my college does not provide internship mainly for engineering students. Most of the students do their internship from other sources.

Placement Experience

1.5

The placement scenario is not very good here. Most of the companies recruiting from here are IT companies which recruit cs and it students and some students from other branches. From this year , some core companies are likely to visit the campus for recruitment. Although the major recruiters are:-tcs,capgemini,accenture. The average package is around 2.5 to 3 lakhs p.a.

College Events

4

The only technical and cultural fest of college is the OJAS which is a 2 day fest and is celebrated every year in the month of february. As it is the only fest of the college, it is celebrated with full joy and enthusiasm. All the hidden talents of tge college are showcased in this fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is semester wise which is around 35k per semester or 70k per year which very feasible for a student from middle class background. The fees is very much feasible as compared to other private colleges. The fees is alright for the facilities that college offers.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a facility for full fee waving for the toppers in 1st year in every branch. Also there is a book bank facility available for branch toppers who can take maximum of 6 books from the library and return it at the end of the semester.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is the best part one can have here. There are students from all over the country which shows the diversity of college. There are many extracurricular activities held throught the year like debates, sports championships. There are 3 main sports in which the teams represent bit:basketball, cricket, kabbadi.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel facilties are available for students who have their home 100km or more from the college. One room can accomodate a maximum of 4 students. The rooms have all the basic facilities like cooler ,fan,24hrs water supply, etc. The mess is not so great and most of the students after 2nd year arrange food from outside. The menu in the mess is not so appealing and generally repeatitive.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of bit durg is strong. There is official alumni network of bit durg in which the passedouts and present students register themselves and share information about each other.

Exam Structure

There are 2 class tests and and one end semester exam in every semester. The question papers for class tests are designed by the college itself while the question paper for the end sem is designed by CSVTU. Moreover there are internal viva exams which is taken by the faculties of different subjects.

Admission

I cleared cg pet and got a chance to choose the college of my choice. The steps were:- 1. Online filling of choices for college and branch 2. Document verification at a centre 3. Filling of admission form and deposition of admission fees at the college

Faculty

3

Some of the teachers here are very experienced while some are new. Most of the faculties are passouts from this college only. The newly appointed faculties are not so good when it comes to teaching(majority of them). The old and experienced faculties have a better way of teaching and explaining concepts.

Placement Experience:

We can do internships after 1st year and 2nd but for the placement it's in 4th year. The training and placement cell of the college has work consistently to bring reputated companies like a TCS Wipro Infosys LNT Infotech etc. the medium package for uses students is like 4 lakh per annum and PG students was about 4 to 5 lakh per annum. However when compared with some of the top tile institutions the package levels and placement percentage highlight the student themselves me to bridge through internship of campus drive and additional certifications. Another noticeable trend is that placements 10 to be more favourable for the branches like computer science and information technology where are School branches of an face lower absorption rates which is common in many engineering colleges. But here off campus placement are really good

Placement scenario is so good as per the stats . Like students are eligible for placements from there 7th sem . No. Of companies visited is around 200 (guess). Offers made 600(guess) . Highest package is 65 lpa , and average package is 9 lpa there are major two roles one is core engineering get role and other is non core data analyst role . 86 % students are placed last year . My plan is to get good placements from college itself and then after experience I will go for MBA or higher studies .

Course curriculum is very outdated and here the facilities more practical and they believe that if you want you can do other field like non-technical fields and something like government exam. There course or syllabus is not industrial ready.

Internship for the third and final year students, but not paid mostly. Placements are very few, don't expect placement from any government college in Chhattisgarh. Work on your skill. Companies like Adani came for placement for Mtech mining students. Highest package is of 3.5 lpa, He works in Bangalore. Other students do master. I am working in my skills and I will try for off campus placement or I will go abroad for master or job.
