Likes
- The campus of the University is big and beautiful. There are so many trees in the campus . There are proper arrangement of clean, drinking water in the campus everywhere. The cleanliness of campus is maintain
- The next thing I like most in the campus is the library . There are two library in the University one is small ( for B.TECH and BIO.TECH students only) and open only 9am to 5pm .
- But the other one is big 3 floor library ,having thousands of books and reading room which is also open 9 to 5 . But the reading hall is open 24hr a week.
Dislikes
- The hostel food provided is of poor quality . Also some of the hostel are in poor condition. ALso there is no canteen ( 24 hr open ) in the campus . student have to go outside the university to eat even maggie or take tea after 10 pm
- The teachers and professors are not that expert in their feild except some . The quality education are not provided
- The internship and placement facility the campus are very poor. Only some academic topper get placement of max 7-8 lpa.
Course Curriculum Overview
The theoretical knowledge and content deliver by the teachers and professors are good but they are not relevant to want course actually demand . Like in AI&ML , the most important subject along with coding is math . the teacher taught only formulas concept and how tom solve question , but we need how we can implement those maths in the feild of AI and where these concept use in handling data and all. The Q in exam are defficult in comparison what they taught to us
Placement Experience
students are eligible in end of 3rd year and 4 year but only few of the student get placed in oncampus placements. The package provided by the company are also very low ( around 6-7 LPA average) so student seek job outside the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
In B.tech the total fee along with hostel and mess fee is around 4 lakh . The course fees for first year is around 80000 and decrease per year. The scholarships are also provided for SC ST and OBC student but no scholarship for general students.
Campus Life
There are not so many club in the campus . There is a dedicated library for student having thousand of tech , non tech related books. also there is a reading room attached with the library of 2 floor which is 24/7 open , there full air conditioning facility in the library as well as well as reading hall. free wifi are also provided for the student in the campus
Hostel Facilities
The rooms provided are good and comfortable for 2 students. two chairs , one table , two almirah for clothes , two almirah for lugguage and two beds are provided with balcony the meal quality provided by the mess is poor. But the menu are decided by the students the hostel fee is around 15,000? in which 2000? is mess security and 5000? is hostel security which are given back to the student after handover of hostel rooms to the warden Hostel forms are filled online on student portal and the students are shortlisted and informed online either by college whatsapp group or by mail.
Admission
In in engineering , one can take admission through HSTES counselling. After counselling , the left over seat are given to the student through physical counselling. Student having at leat 60-70 percentile in jee mains can take admission in physical counselling and student having 75+ percentile can take admissiom in CSE courses. It is suggested to take atleast 3 copy of every document at the time of admission. and also fill the information in the e saral portal that are provided by the college in the e-mail before counselling .
Faculty
the teachers are available till the college is open. The mentorship college provide is also very good. There are many session being held in the college about student mental health during exams , importance of yoga and comminication skills. Also some tech related session were organised by MLSA UIET
