Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Overall course curriculum is good as there are regular events, sports etc, i participated in sports and competition. For real world application curriculum is good but needs improvement. Exams are conducted almost every months and difficulty level of exam is moderate and depends on how a student have studied.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I have done internship in district court and High court. Internship is necessary as i have learnt many practical things in internship and my overall internship experience is good. We have given two month period after end term exam for doing the internship

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for my courses is 110000 per year and this is same for the five years, I have to pay this amount every year. They are very punctual in taking fees and after that, they started taking fine of 200 per day. As per my knowledge university is not provide any scholarships but other scholarships like by state government are acceptable.

Campus Life

3

My overall overall experience with campus life, focusing on social aspects, club involvement, and the infrastructure are good as there are many events and celebrations done as movie stars are coming regularly.

Admission

The admission process is based on the 12th result and the competitive exams that the student is given and you must have the university fees to pay there are no other eligibility criteria than this. Exams are conducted for almost a month, difficulty level of exams is moderated. There is a need of improvement in the quality of faculty members as not all facilities are good some are good but not all are good.

Faculty

3

Faculty to the students ratio is overall good but in some of the combine classes the number of students is more than 100 on 1 teacher. Faculty are well qualified and the approach of teaching and mentorship of most of the faculty members are good and also supportive, those who wants to study they can get support easily. Anyone can interact with teachers whenever he/she needs as in regular classroom or library or staffroom or faculty room . Either one can interact in regular class or he/she can also interact in faculty room if he or she have any doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There has lot of visits like court visit, parliament visit, etc The curriculum provides a basic foundation of theoretical knowledge that is useful for understanding core concepts and for pursuing further academic studies, such as higher education or competitive examinations. It helps develop analytical thinking and subject awareness. There is significant scope for improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods. The syllabus should be updated regularly to include recent developments, practical modules, project-based learning, internships, workshops, and skill-enhancement courses.Examinations are conducted frequently in the form of internal assessments, mid-semester exams, and end-semester exams, which sometimes creates academic pressure for students. The timing of exams is often closely packed, leaving limited time for proper preparation and revision. In terms of difficulty, the exams are generally of moderate level, though some subjects are challenging due to lengthy syllabi and conceptual depth.

Corporate Law is a subjects but no corporate placements as law firms were the sole contributors of our university. They gave as many placements as 30% students were placed and that too with very thin packages. So, university needs to fix this just like they have fixed every single thing at the campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements for Law are not comparable to the tech courses so far at GLA. Every year combining BBA LLB and BA LLB around 300 and I don't think even 100 are placed. So, GLA University will have to find a way to get atleast half the students find placements here and because I know my chances of getting placements are slim, I will be opting for doing LLM after I am done with LLB in 2027.

The college provide students with PDF lectures which focuses on personality development which includes confidence building, speaking and listening skills, etc. They also give tips for a better resume and how to give interview and prepare us for interviews by organising mock interviews. 5th year students are the focused students for the campus placement. Some students choose to be an advocate and others may prepare for higher studies and or prepare for judiciary and other civil services examinations. I personal preference to go for the one field which can open my ways for other field stoo.

Students from third year have started getting Pre-Placement Offers, but many of those are majorly due to their own accomplishments. Students get ample amount of time to intern at various law firms and courts, to secure a PPO on their own. In addition to this, the Internship and Placement Committee, often comes in aid to secure PPOs for the students of the graduating batch.
