Course Curriculum Overview

The course does not benefit a person that much in terms of being more capable. It is less practical. You cannot be ready for a job just by referring the text books. This course can be useful for a lot of students if it was more practical

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 4430 per year

Internships Opportunities

A lot of Internship opportunities are available in the college. They help students in finding suitable companies. The teachers help in verifying the companies. The teachers encourage students to take part in internships during the summer vacation.

Placement Experience

A lot of companies approach the management to look for students who are ready for jobs. Reputed companies as well as banks conduct placements in the college. South Indian Bank and Federal Bank are the best among them.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got a seat here on merit. I don't know about the fee structure of others. We have to pay 4430/- a year. A lot of scholarships are available based on the income of the family of the student as well as on the basis of marks scored in +2

Campus Life

I have been having a great time here in the college. Even though the campus is not that huge compared to other colleges like Christ Irinjalakuda it is located in the city. The college is easily accessible and there are a lot of places you can go to during your free time

Admission

Since I got 99% marks in +2, the admission process was pretty easy. I was also a part of NSS in +2 so I got a seat in the first allotment itself. St Thomas College, Thrissur is an autonomous college so you have to visit their website to apply for a seat

Faculty

St Thomas College, Thrissur have qualified teachers and they encourage students to refer other sources other than text books to improve students knowledge. They focus making the students ready to face all challenges.

i would rate it 3.5/5 it is relevent and covers most of the topic afterall add some more practical and real world could make it even better real world problems don't exist in silos coming subjects like data science or psychology with business prepare students for complex decision making

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in there 6th semester during 3rd year. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

The best college in calicut city

Remarks:

Our college is the best but the college have not a college bus and a canteen. The students are come to the college with bikes and cars and private bus and students are eating food from out of the college campus and other hotels.

ST Thomas College, Thrissur - King of Placements and Academics in Kerala

I got admission in keralavarma college and i joined there, but when i got a call from here i suddenly withdrew my tc and came to st thomas. The academic brilliance here is exceptional. Campus life is somewhat a little bit boring because of the town atmosphere but the college is absolutely enjoyable. Not bad, not great

I chose St thomas because of it's reputation. It has been there since 1800's. Besides it is the only college in the state if kerala with this particular course and I say that is very impressive. The admission process is conducted online with an offline interview after being shortlisted.
