Remarks
Niet college is Overall Good but lacks in terms of Infrastructure and quality crowd.
Entrance Preview
Niet situated in heart of Knowledge park in Gr. Noida provides it's students a great environment to study as well as all-round development. College enhances your skills and helps to overcome your weaknesses and provides you strength to fulfil your dreams as an engineering graduate.
Course Curriculum Overview
When I entered the college for admission process they ask me to register through a vending machine for which course I want to opt. As keeping in mind for the Engineering I registered for it and get counselling by the teachers about the course and rules and regulations of the college.
Internships Opportunities
Yes as it is from Aktu and Aicte approved college it provides internships at regular basis due to aicte norms students must have completed minimum 3 internships in his/her course curriculum. Generally, internships are not paid but you can do it on your own if you had the potential to do it.
College Events
As it is an Aktu's engineering college, not a Du college which organizes too many fests or events but it also provides you with a platform for showing your skills by conducting Tech fest and Ebullience fest at a regular basis. Apart from its festive events such as Republic day celebration, Fresher party and Farewell party also conducted by the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As in my opinion fees structure is neither feasible nor expensive because in private engineering colleges across country 1 L.P.A. is average fees and in Niet, you have to submit 1.32 lpa for Ist year which includes 5000 as security money and 10000 for TBL by which you get books for your curriculum from the college itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
yes, the scholarship is provided by the university itself for, weaker section and reserved candidates. Loan facility is also available for students who wish to take it.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is good, different labs for different branches and other things. For example separate labs for automation, big data, networking, AutoCAD, etc. A football ground is there. The student has access to a good vast library. Classes are not airconditioned but all the labs which have computers are fully air-conditioned. They also have startup incubator. Robotics, Automation, PTC Creo, Apple Ios, Cognizant space and Mercedes Benz lab is there inside the college campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is quite good in 1st year as it has a separate campus from the main campus which is for senior students. Rooms are accommodated for single, double, three and four beds by varying in prices. Mess food is good in Ist year but not gets is a quality fit in a 2nd year.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni are the ones who are responsible for college name or fame. Many alumni working with top MNC's came here time to time to share there knowledge and experience. Seniors are very supportive.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is strictly based upon Aktu norms which comprise of 2 semesters a year contains 2 sessional tests of 30 marks ad a PUT exam of 70 marks followed by external semester exams of 70 marks. Also, internal viva and external viva and practical exams are also conducted in both semesters.
Admission
Well, I get the admission through direct counselling by approaching direct towards college administration by hearing its name and fame through words of mouth. As college intakes students through the Upsee exam in Aktu but it saves 25% of seats to itself as Management quota seats which are filled by an aptitude test followed by Maths test and at last interview by head itself.
Faculty
All the faculty members are good, well-educated, supportive, and understandable. We have smart class facilities in every room. There are a lot of teachers available for students, and there will be no free hours. There is a separate campus for the students of the first year, and there is a separate campus for the students of 2nd, 3rd and 4th year. They provide lectures of IITs in mock labs, and Khan Academy courses and NPTEL lectures are also available for students
