Remarks

There's only bad about the college according to the college management. They do not care about the life of students, all they care about is money from the institution. Only good about prime College is it's easy to reach and is within town.

Entrance Preview

Prime College of engineering is near to my home and it had less Tuition Fee other than colleges other engineering colleges that i can go. It's easy to get to prime College from my home. And also prime is within the town, there's no need to travel very long time.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I'm studying in a newly formed University named, APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University in short KTU. KTU is mostly based on using the technology and internet. So it is easy to get all the updates from university and Syllabus, Curriculum from their website. I access curriculum from ktu website through my Mobile Phone

Internships Opportunities

No, our College do not provides internships or any other activities that's other than academic. Nothing but just studies.

Placement Experience

1.5

Placement and job opportunity's in prime is purely bad. i can say that's there's not even a placement cell in the college or any other placement related activities. No company will come to prime for selecting students, and students should enquire other colleges for any interview that we can go for. College authority will not care what happens.

College Events

1.5

Republic Day Independence Day NSS Day College Day Arts Day Onam Christmas Farewells Freshers Day Sports REPUBLIC Day and Independence day is celebrated in a way by hoisting Natioal flag at College entrance. NSS day is celebrated by doing any social activities by helping someone, or cleaning areas etc. College Day and Arts day is celebrated by staging performances by all year students Onam and Christmas is celebrated at the day of the vacation begins in cultural way.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible in Prime College of engineering. Mostly Prime College students are from middle class family so that they can't afford so much for studies. The college will give scholarship accoo to the mark student scored during admission.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah, at the time of admission , based on the marks scored on the science subjects in +2, one can get scholarship.

Campus Life

1.5

Firstly Prime has no campus at all. The laboratory's are very old and which runs very badly. Campus life is strictly bad. College authority's doesn't support for extracurricular activities or any other activities other than regular academic sessions. There will be no programs in college.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel facility and mess food is not that well and good. Only girls can stay at hostel that is in college compound and use mess after the College hours. Day scholars has second priority over foods available at mess even at college hours. And Boys from college has to stay at a flat that is away from college and mess food is transported to them.

Alumni/Alumna

There's no alumni in prime College and college authority do not encourage that. Senior students are good that there's no ragging from their side to the new comers.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is strictly based on the norms of University. One internal examination after first month of commencement of classes and with 2 modules for each subjects. That too 2 subjects of 50 marks for a day. One at morning and other at afternoon. And another Internal at 3rd month as same as the first internal. And lab examination that is held by college. And University examination at the end of semester.

Admission

Firstly the admission was based on the marks obtained in the Higher secondary Physics, Chemistry and Maths papers. There was a scholarship based on the level of marks scored in those subjects. It was before the entrance results came. After the entrance result came, i had enough marks to get the scholarship. Actually i was eligible for merit seat, but due to the mistake that i made in college selection, i had to go for the Management seat with scholarship.

Faculty

2

I can access my faculties by going to the staff room and on weekends, or on off duty time, i can contact them through mobile, e-mail and whatsapp. Faculties are friendly so that we could ask for any help from them which is regarding academic. They would share study materials through WhatsApp groups

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
