Campus is very good, clean and advanced. There college is developing really fast and the future batches are very lucky.

Hostel food is not really that good. The food can better because the students are paying a lot for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

According to me, the CBME curriculum is very organised and planned. But I feel it's too hectic on the students because it always keeps them engaged and there is barely any free time for us. Hope there is any change in the curriculum to make it a bit lighter for the students

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Our college has one of the lesser fees compared to the other colleges, but in total we pay 5.8 lakhs. I feel it's a good investment as the college has very good standards and infrastructure. They provide us with student loans too. This college is recognised very well abroad.

Campus Life

The campus life is very nice and smooth. There could be some improvement in the canteen services because the college is very big to have such a undeveloped canteen. Otherwise the infrastructure is too good.

Admission

The admission process is very smooth. Since I come in the open category, I need to get a lot of marks to get into a decent college whereas people with reservations have better opportunities to get into a better college easily

Faculty

The faculty are well trained and experienced. Their life experiences help us learn a lot. The information they know is a lot which help us understand better. They update themselves with the newer technology, hence helps students learn better. The usage of powerpoint, and other teaching aids is very effective

The faculty are approachable and friendly. All faculty are government doctors working in the hospital with qualifications of MD and DM. The teaching is very good in the postings, and in classes, they will be teaching through PPT. We will have exams once per year, they are University exams.. and easy to pass if you study well.

The medical college and hospital is at Mundiyampakkam village, Villupuram District. Being located at a village, the medical college focuses on maintaining good health of rural people. There are 1100 beds which are used by patients. 650 beds are used for teaching and 450 beds are used for other medical purposes. Being close to nature, the college is surrounded by greenery. One can get fresh air and healthy environment easily. However, the city is a little bit far away.
