Course Curriculum Overview

nice curriculum, I like medical freld so I choose this course. This course is mostly of practical. The University syllabus needs to be updated. The atmosphere with patients and care them and cure them that is my best part

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As this college is attached to PSG hospitals there is free internship for 6months as regular. that time we have posted and all departments rotatory manner. At time time you develop many skills to take cake of patients

Fees and Financial Aid

nice education, value for money paid, more practical knowledge, hospital based trainning benifits. good infrastructure, green campus, hostel facility, well equipped library with more useful books, own book reading hall etc.

Campus Life

PSG campus is green campus .lots of trees birds and big playground facility.we have also many extra curricular activities like sports and culturals and so on. The college is quite strict but If you are correct the you enjoyed it.

Admission

I was selected by the government quota using twelfth marks. Then, I applied for councelling during that time I heard that PSG is the best institution with hospitals.then I select PSG as my first choice as I had enough percentage I get this college

Faculty

experienced and friendly faculties. comprensive and Clinical exposure and hands on trainning encouraged. we have three internals and after end of year we have University exam both therory and practicals

NIEPMD - THE JOURNEY I MADE

Likes

In NIEPMD , first of all you are fascinated by the surrounding. It is a institution situated in ECR road and just beside u can see the Bay of bengal sea, beach is there. While you are having a class u can feel the natural breeze and colour of blue sea
Secondly, The cleanliness and management is too good. It is the best of all. Big hall for functions, examinations ,library, ac rooms, mess.
As it is multiple disability institute. So you get every intervention in a same roof.People can avail services like Physiotherapy, Occupation therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, Special school for specially abled. So no need to wander her and there.

Dislikes

Here actually student strength is low in batch.
New innovation for teaching can be improved here.
Mess food here needs to be changed and sports activites should be increased

Placement Experience:

During internship, after final year exams, we are eligible for campus placements > From Bangalore, PRS neuroscience visited for the campus interview > From 24, 6 got selected for the Hr round > From 6 only 3 got into the company > The package was Rs 26000 per month > Plus we get notification for vacancy for govt and private companies in a whatsapp group.

Tragic college life ????

Likes

The college supports sports and the place this college is situated has a pleasant atmosphere
Some faculties are nice they interact with each equally

Dislikes

The faculty are showing partiality, they give priority to the tamil students over others
About the hostel - the hostel food is trash can’t even swallow because of the taste and in the hostel the room doesn’t have access to any switchboard to charge the phone if you want to charge you’ll have to go in the wardens room
The college doesn’t feels like it , it feels like you’re still stuck in the school life , girls and boys doesn’t have the freedom to talk to each other , if they saw you talking to any girls the staffs will call the parents and talks in a bad way

Course Curriculum Overview:

The physiotherapy has a wide range of opportunities after completing the bachelors either you can go for masters or work at hospital as physiotherapy or you can be working as an independent physio and treat the patients at their home, or you can start a clinic and can manage that. The physiotherapy is growing field that has a good future . You'll be good physio if you diagnose your patients correctly, if you follow the doctors prescription you will be technician. In this college the patients are less and the teaching quality is worst , you'll need to work at clinics to get a idea about everything. The college only teaches theory but not practicals

We will see all different cases comes here and we will gain knowledge.
Teaching and practical aspect is better

Dislikes

Transporatation discomfort. They cannot provide tranportation for us for the posting in other instittutes.
There is no common room for us and proper classrooms.
They didn't provide separate drinking facilities. There is no extra activities like culturals, farwells, freshers day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This professional brings alot of remarkable thing to patient. We bring back them to their past physical life with good motive. We bring back them from their bed and make them to do their activities on thier own.

A honest review of my college

Remarks:

My college is good. The only problem is that there is management quota if you are rich you can get a seat in my college. I think that should be changed because deserving students may not get admission because of this.

PSG IMSR - Every medical students’ dream?

In addition to PSG I also applied to Coimbatore medical College, but I was not allotted to see based on the counselling process and my rank. Since I did not want to leave my city, I only applied to a limited number of colleges. Moreover, PSG is a prestigious institute known throughout the country. The admission process is quite straightforward. Once you write the NEET exam and you get admitted to the college, which happens through the all India counselling and the state counselling process, YOU TAKE THE ALLOTMENT LETTER TO THE COLLEGE FOR ADMISSION. AFTER THAT, YOU HAVE TO UNDERGO GENERAL PHYSICAL EXAMINATION TO MAKE SURE YOU'RE ELIGIBLE TO TAKE THE COURSE AND THEN YOU DO THE FEE PAYMENT. YOU ARE ALSO REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A FEW DOCUMENTS TO THE COLLEGE ADMINISTRATION, WHICH WILL BE STORED AS PROOF OF YOUR STUDYING THERE. THE ADMISSION EXPERIENCE WAS QUITE EASY and once you pay the fee, you get the receipt. Make sure to keep it safe for future reference....Read More
