Likes

The faculty is very good. They are all NET qualified professors with years of teaching experience.
Other activities which are important for practical life in legal field are also given importance as moot courts, research paper and internship etc.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not so good as compared to the prestige the university holds.
Being government University the clerical work is really slow.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is over all good and approved by Bar Council of India. Although it is not really helpful for people who want to pursue litigation as such, because it's mostly the theoretical knowledge and very less importance is given to practical aspects. But for judiciary aspirants it is really good.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 52000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is almost 52 thousand rupees. All tuition fees and exam fees etc are included in that only. You have to pay the fees semester wise. Government Scholarships are available as medhavi vidyarthi yojna and the SC/ST scholarship also.

Campus Life

Every year annual sports fest called TEJAS and cultural fest called AXIOM takes place. Other than that students also participate in inter-college fests. There is a separate library in college and along side there is central library in the university itself. Moot court committee is being run by students and faculty.

Admission

Admission is based on CUET conducted by NTA. It happens every year. The level of hardship is between moderate to difficult. The syllabus is provided on website of NTA. Almost 60 students are given admission on their merit basis in CUET. Reservation is also duly considered.

Faculty

The faculty is very good they are all NET qualified and have atleast 5-25 years of experience. Many of them are even Deen and HOD of other colleges. some of them are practicing lawyers. The student-faculty ratio is also nice and there is one mentor on every 20 students along with a common batch facilitator.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Placement Experience:

Some corporate which are anyways at the campus for hiring students of other streams like the TCS, HUL, Nestle and others are the one who offers us corporate law opportunity with their organization. Initially the lawyers are the least paid employees and therefore placements aren't as significant.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements at JLU begins early as law is a 5 year course but from fourth year final semester, we are allowed to find placements in our own. Or there are some corporate houses which comes to our campus to recruit and we can apply there as well.

Placement Experience:

In my department we get placement opportunities in the final year or we can say 5th year. My college gives placements in high ranked companies but as of now I'm in 4th year so I don't know much about that. The highest package we can get here is 5lpa and the minimum is 2 lpa. My plans after getting degree is litigation.

Placement Experience:

As My course is BBALLB . So here students get eligible for placement from final year only. As of now I'm in 4th year so i didn't visited any company but surely do it in next year. The package we get is minimum 2.5lpa and maximum is 5 lpa.

A college with good ethics

Course Curriculum Overview:

Law is one such field which attracts me the more and to know about the law and a person right and to fight for the others rights that attracts me to pursue this course.The world of ciriculam and the real world of law are very different.In ciriculam you only learn the law and how will be it applies but in real world the court working is very diifernt.The area of improvement is not necessary it's good but in law college there should be a moot court which is absent in the college.The exam conducting authority disappointed allot.There is no specific shecdule for exam conducting.

The collage for a strong foundation of your future
