Guwahati College

The college is good. The teachers, students, infrastructure, the environment is very nice. The certificate from this college helps you a lot.

I opt for this particular college because the department of commerce is the good and everyday class is also better. The teachers are very good enough and also helpful in every situation whenever you need something to learn. You can freely read and borrow books from the library.

The course structure is very simple. The students easily get the points of in their mind. The course can get you a valuable job in the future. Completion of the degree is the minimum qualification in this area for a good job. The degree course is easy and simple.

I don't know much about the internships. But I heard that some companies came across the college for campus placement.

Job opportunities and placements are very minimal. There are a very few amounts of placement process is held. Most of them are campus placement. I don't know about the package but I guess it'll some between 50000-100000. Job opportunities are less in this area.

There are many events celebrated in our college. The first and foremost is freshers. We welcome the freshers by celebrating and enjoying with them. All the big and small events are celebrated perfectly. We celebrate the national events also in our college.

The fees structure is very nominal as it is a full government college run by the Guwahati University. The fees for a semester is between 7000-8000. It includes everything except the uniform and books. You have to purchase the uniform and books from anywhere you want or from the college too.

The college offers some good scholarships for the students. They are based on the caste. But the college doesn't offer loans.

There is the same number of males and females and there are no student diversity or tolerance. There are all types of religions but they are very friendly to each other. No sexual orientation is held on the campus. The political effect can pressurize the students. There are a lot of games played by the students on college week. The competition makes it very challenging.

Sorry to say that but there is no provision of hostel facility yet. But hopefully, it'll soon work out. But there are many paying guests, rent houses near the college for students. They are very good for students and are very cheap in price. You have to make your own food if you stay in rent.

The senior students are very helpful and good. They never refuse you to help and never underestimate you. They are very friendly to everyone.

The exam structure is very good as per me. They cut papers by themselves for the pretest, sessional examinations, and they are very challenging too. But the final exam is held by the Guwahati University as it is a government college. The labs are in a pretty good condition and students can do practicals easily.

I applied for admission in this college by an online form which is available on the official site of the college at a nominal price. Then the seats are filled up by the marks. The merit system is based on admission. You'll be notified the date of admission on the official site. The fees are also nominal than other institutions.

The teachers of the college are so polite and good. They never refuse someone for anything. They will teach you each and everything you want to know about. They will help you thigs about outercourse also. You can go to the teacher's common room if you want to know something personally.
