Likes
- Regular classes is held and course is always completed on time by teachers and lectures are provided in both Assamese and English language.
- The rules and regulations must be followed by all students, everyone gets same treatment without any discrimination and no ragging .
Dislikes
- Campus is a bit small, we don't have our own playground for which in sports weeks we have to visit district's court field for sports competition.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was always interested with trees and plants. To gain more knowledge I discided to take Botany as my Major subject . I really enjoy learning about plants anatomy, morphology, scientific name, etc. I want to pursue my career on agriculture.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students have free admission facility if their parents have income certificate but others have to pay near 2000 for admission. Most of our college students doesn't take any tuition. An amount of 1700 is taken from every student during each semester's finale exam time only. College also provides scholarships for high percentage graduated students for their higher studies .
Campus Life
As a student I got opportunity to join NCC and many workshops like painting, craftwork , baking classes, etc. Through this college along with studies students also gets many opportunities to showcase their talent, to develop different skills, etc . Many knowledgeable books and popular journals are provided by college library to students along with the books related to our course. Students gets opportunity to join extracurricular activities like NSS and NCC. Many competitions were also held in college for the talented students to shine bright.
Admission
You are eligible to apply, if your percentage is above 50% in biology and there is no entrance exam. Students gets seats according to their percentage, the more your percentage, the more you have chance to get seat . Arts students may have difficulty to get seat easily due to too much competition and limited seats. Students need to apply online for admission process and later the eligible students were selected through merit lists.
Faculty
Faculty teachers are always helpful and some are very friendly, who mentors us not only with our studies but also provides information that we need for our future and to grow personally . They are approachable with any problem even if it is personal. They never fails to show us right path of life.
