Ideal Institute-A not so Ideal place for Students

The syllabus is very old but it's affiliated to IP University. You can't blame college entirely. My reason for choosing this course was the thinking that BCA can give me an IT job as I was passout from commerce and wanted an IT job. This curriculum will take you nowhere near competitive. It is old with all theory and some dead languages no-one uses nowadays. Teaching methods they tried were good. They used smart boards, labs for technical subjects as many as possible. In curriculum they should include latest languages and reduce the theory portion. The exams are scheduled at a decent frequency but the preparation is not upto the mark. The syllabus is not completed in many subjects. You have to do it yourself. It's quite difficult because there are not many good teachers teaching BCA specifically according to IP University.

The fees is around 1,15,000 which is average and every college teaching BCA have similar fee structure. My total course would be around 3,50,000 with all services included. The fees is worthy for the provided services. Students get an Entrepreneurship development form where they get 5000 to do courses of their choice. Talking about fee reliefs they have EWS and other provisions through which students can seek fee relief or some financial help. BCA has been announced now only so you can't say about campus placement. But watching other courses I can say the placements are decent. The companies are medicore but they offer a decent package.

Campus is small yet enjoyable. You can enjoy your canteen meals or some gossips if you want. Events do happen but they are done on collaboration basis that includes annual function,sports day. Annual function helds in December whereas sports day happens in March. For library, the journals and books are easy accessible and they do ask for feedback to add which book in library. The staff especially the female teacher is very helping. They will try to give the best effort for their readers. In sports,they have all the equipments and you can use any one of your choice inside the campus. The time limit is prescribed for sports. The classrooms in terms of size are decent and all the classrooms are equipped with ACs. Their is an ideal club which is responsible for conducting industrial visits every year.

The admission process was according to the rules of IP University where I had to give CET (Common Entrance Test). The seat allotment was done by the University portal in 3 different rounds and a spot round. Students also got admission according to CUET results in the spot round. You can find application forms on University portal. The registration is easy. Application fees is around 1000 rupees. Many available reservation benefits they are good if you want a good college under University. The exam is quite easy and can be easily completed in the prescribed time limit. According to me,the exam is easy if you have the basic knowledge. There is a scope of improvement in terms of accountability and awareness there was havoc in students when they decided to accept CUET admissions. Students were not aware about what exam they have to give. The confirmation came very late from the University.

Teachers do interact with the students at regular intervals. There are 45 students on a faculty and they do handle it well. The faculties can give you an idea about the path and they will give the best they can. Teaching differs from faculty-to-faculy where some give their best while leave you on online sources. Interactions with teachers are always positive they have a topic to discuss and their is always a conclusion from that interaction.
