- Our institute ranks among top 10 law colleges of Delhi.
- Attendance system is not that strict and also our classes are over by 3 pm.
- Our college has now started helping us get the best internships and therefore semester breaks are also long now.
Dislikes
- Placements are weak and that's an issue to be honest.
Course Curriculum Overview
I thought of many career options as I opted for commerce and then BBA and CA we e my initial options but then all of a sudden i learned about the career prospects that law studies can bring. Law is an endless research program and a work which is never ending. Our course too teaches us all the aspects of law studies and that motivated me to choose law.
Internships Opportunities
Not corporate but litigation firms and lawyers practicing in High Court and Supreme Court. Stipend to juniors isn't there in law field unlike engineering where internships are paid. In law, it's more of learning than earning.
Placement Experience
My plans are simple that I will enroll for LLM IP program at NLU Delhi and will try my best to get admission there. Practicing and hard court struggle in courts is not my thing and so teaching in an institution is my liking and LLM gives me that option to exercise.
Fees and Financial Aid
Ideal Institute is often considered a nonchalant institute but it isn't and the fees to study here is also 1.1 lakhs a year which is quite decent or should I say pocket friendly. Scholarships for low or students coming from background are available.
Campus Life
Well there are quite a many societies and some of them like Ruhi try to become voice of Acid victims. Infrastructure of our campus is quite good and we have almost everything from canteen, to library. All are small as just one building is all it is.
Admission
IIMT is an ideal Institute and I had my seniors there already. Apart from here, I applied at ICFAI and from ICFAI Dehradun I recieved a call along with 20% scholarship as well. Since I am from Delhi and living a hostel life was not my cup of tea and that's why I chose IIMT & School of Law.
Faculty
Our college has faculties which have a nature which can be called kind. Also, they are sweet while teaching and even if we ask n number of doubts. However their personality changes as soon as things go hay from students end. So, it's give and take with them they are ready to shell all their time and energy but in return they command results.
Night Life
Brew N Cafe is at walking distance and that is where we go mostly as there is discount going on before 7 pm. Gym and all not my type again and hostels are not there of our college. River Cross Mall is also an option to hangout.
