- Our college is close to Kakardooma court and we are taken to the court often to have some practical learning.
- Infrastructure is best and top quality classrooms and auditorium is there.
- Placements are still not that many but students who have a good CV are definitely getting Internships from here.
Dislikes
- No sports facilities and even parking space is hardly there.
Course Curriculum Overview
BALLB (Hons) program is almost same everywhere it's just the teaching that depends. In law practical studies matters more and therefore we have enough debate competition, moot competition and mandatory Internships as well to do. So, in a way a lot of exposure and IPU backed syllabus is definitely good enough and no changes are required.
Internships Opportunities
Lawyers with good reputation and depending upon the area where we want to uskiol ourselves are the ones that provides us Internships. Even 4th year students are hardly offered any stipend so stipend is nil but to gain experience we do Internships.
Placement Experience
At our college placements begin from 4th year end as fifth year we just have two subjects to follow and it's all placements activity that rules. Our of a batch of 100 students around 60 do get placed from Ideal Institute every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
IIMT& School of Law is made to address court issues and therefore law and management are the only two courses available here. The fees is also not as high as private colleges in Delhi usually charges. It's 1.1 lakhs a year and studnets coming from Sports Quota, SC/ST quota or for that matter Army Quota gets scholarships worth 10-30%.
Campus Life
We have a college that has law events and there are a lot of engaging societies who head these events. Like i am in MUN society and it's my responsibility and role to prepare teams from our college and make sure atleast 40-50 more college teams also participate. So, learning happens here in many ways and we have an infrastructure in place where we can host 40-50 teams in our auditorium at the same time
Admission
IPU entrance as all the IPU backed colleges have this criteria in place. Yes there is some synecdoche as well like few management quota seats as there are 100 seats in all and out of which 25 are alloted that way.
Faculty
Our college faculties are seriously very good and kind and generous as all these adjectives still be less for them. All haven't just done masters in law or PHD but also have patents and work experience as well.
Night Life
Kakardooma is called institutional area as there are some schools and our college. Also court is just a kilometre away so we just have small tea stalls and all nearby. However if we cross three odd kilometres we have Vegas Mall and Cross River Mall.
