- I appreciate the not so compulsory attendance as the best thing done by our college.
- A lot of learning opportunities through seminar and fests like Gyan Manthan.
- Infrastructure is outstanding as the building has every facility apart from sports.
Dislikes
- Intake all of a sudden have increased from 100-200 for law students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our exams frequencies and all are upto IPU as they govern and manage the exams. Our exams aren't easy as IPU university sets the paper really tough and getting 8.5 plus CGPA means studying significantly for that. In our batch of 200 some 40 students have managed to achieve this fest in last semester.
Internships Opportunities
It were the lawyers mostly as every now and then requirements came and teachers used to give it to the ones who wer doing in academics. So internships at our college are based on merit and not just lame recommendations.
Placement Experience
Some students who got placements were placed for 30-35k a month. However last batch was of 150 students and around 30 students were placed. So it's poor placements as of now and in law getting placed via campus is quite tough.
Fees and Financial Aid
Ideal Institute of Management Technology & School of Law is an autonomous college which is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The fees is 7500 for registration and then 92000 as Tution Fees of the college. GST and Insurance and other charges made the final fees tally to 1.1 lakhs a year
Campus Life
Not many events apart from competitions as DJ night and all don't happen at our college. Our library and canteen are closed the last around 6-7 and rest all facilities are closed by 6 pm. 5 storied building with modern architecture and latest computer lab and library is what we have at our one building campus.
Admission
In government i was very keen for NLU Delhi but having failed, I had Nirma University in mind and I also got admission there but couldn't go there as my family didn't let me travel that far. So, in Delhi the only college I was eligible for placements was this and enrolled here.
Faculty
Our faculties believes in students unity and therefore never let anyone become a leader and keep the people like them in check. Unfortunately Delhi so such people do try to chance their arm around. So our faculties are also grounded and teach students humility along with Law.
Night Life
Our college is in a good location and therefore there are many hangout places in Kakardooma. Cafes, Malls, Connectivity though buses and metro is also amazing. Hostels intime didn't mattered as there are no hostels offered by our college.
