- I liked the campus environment as it is full of greenery and provide you fresh air all around which help us to be close with the nature.
- I like the infrastructure of the campus as different departments are formed in very royal way which give pleasant feel to eyes.
Dislikes
- I don't like the allowance of all city members in the campus as it allow the people not good in morals to be roam here nd there in the area.
- The campus is open campus and all vehicles are allowed which many time distract us and give noisy feel to the spirit.
- Because of pandemic several official things are not going well on time and not managed by the officials
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was good for the theoretical level as it provide us details knowledge about different aspect of my field of Mass communication. The curriculum was based on print media that is good for those who want to be placed in that field but for digital purpose it is not up to the mark which is a back hole of the course. There should be focus give to the practical and digital part so the students can perform according to today's work culture and demand
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees was minimal in comparison to other universities as AMU is providing the whole two years course with in 20,000 that is almost nil in comparison to others where the fees is in lakh. There is also an option of scholarship through which we get our fee back and that help us to complete our other important works. There is a setback here which is related to employment as there is no university placement which demotivate us as we don't get any chance of job from university side and we have to struggle alot to get job.
Campus Life
I have great experience with my campus life, course and hostel life Amu provide us the environment where we grow with nature view of campus and get multiple opportunities in form of taking participation in different cultural and knowledge events that runs side by side. The teachers and courses give us the guidance and knowledge which help us to achieve our goals and give us great vision. I learn alot form campus and with students that are diversified came form different background and areas of India.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is alloted to me with my admission to the course and there I get an good room where we have to share it with other three girls but the room was spacious with one cupboard for every person and chair with desk for everyone. The food was okay as they were taking minimal charges so according to that the quality is quiet ok and can be adjusted. The hostel provide us good melas and other facilities like reading room.l, computer lab, prayer room and Gymnasium.
Admission
The eligibility of the course is graduation means you should be a graduate in any field with 45% marks to fill out the entrance form of the University. After the completion of form, one must fill the entrance form that comes in Feb and March after that prepare for the test. In month of June and July entrance test is conducted and one has to appear after this to get admitted in the course the name should be present in the selection list of students who crack the exam. The entrance is of mid-difficulty level and one can crack it if prepared for it.
Faculty
The faculty and student ratio in good as we have good numbers of teachers in the department that take different parts of subject. All the faculty are very much talented and knowledgeable and provide their valuable experience with the students which help them to see things with clear vision. I interact with all my teachers and chairman and they always give respect to our points and do what is good for students.
