Hostel food-The condition of hostel food is not so good.
The water given to plants is unhygienic and unpleasant

Course Curriculum Overview

The course btech in skit is good in all format. As skit also given A++ grade by NAAC Authorization. In terms of academic,the syllabus is vast is given to Sharpen the mind. I think that the curriculum should be designed mainly on tech.

Internships Opportunities

There are different internship programmes are offered in skit college.Like in first year it basically basic internship of DSA, html,web development etc. Afterward the internships program are going to every year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee is much affordable in skit college as compare to other engineering college i.e-115000 for a year. Also SKIT provides special seats to the candidates belongs to jammu and kashmir.Also skit provides various scholarships,like base on category etc.

Campus Life

There are different annual functions held at skit like pravah an annual fest, hackathon , technologies fests. There are also different clubs in skit which offering various social events. Afterward it also have a luxurious library where you will find all books

Admission

For taking admission in skit, students have to fill reap form.In this case students have 75 percentage in 12th class with an appropriate percentile in jee mains.Also some seats are reserved for Rajasthan students

The faculty is best in the college.From good knowledge of subjects to problem solving of students. Faculty comes from different IIIT,Nit,having mtech degree etc I interact teachers many time,in my not understanding of topic or for futuristic plan

Interview Experience

There are no such type of things for taking admission. However we have to fill the reap form for taking admission in skit college.Also there are some seats for Rajasthan students which are reserved for them.

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

From fourth year the students become eligible for campus placements And before that you have to go for outside placements by students himself only companies visited like Microsoft Zomato and all no Google and number of companies are not very good only mass recruiters are there like three L package tcs and old highest package is around 53 lakhs by Microsoft last year in 2023 and 4 academic year percentage of getting placements is like around you can say out of 100 4040 will get placement Every package is around 5 according to the chorus but I know it is around 3 lpa In reality I am pre paying for gate exam right now let us see what happened

I have got into this college by my jee mains percentile. I have opted this college over two government colleges i have got because of affordability and less distant from my home towm .
