Likes

I like the atmosphere ,greenery and plantatiion inside building.
Faculty was very polite and decent and always helps me out.
Overall study and co curricular activities are good

Dislikes

The thing is dislike is there is so much strictness for time just like school
You must have to wear id card to get entry otherwise you will not get
Canteen food was quite expensive and the quality was not that much good

Course Curriculum Overview

It was one of the toughest and one of the oldest discipline in world . I have been really interested in it from my childhood . As my father and grand father was a civil engineer .my grand father work in PWD department in pmgsy as a chief engineer .i used too see things it really fascinate me thats why i choose this field

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

It was all good .first i have done the summer imternship in gaur city after that in my final year i got selected in one of the prestogious company l&t (larsern and toubro) one of the biggest construction company.

Fees and Financial Aid

I thinl fees is quite decent its around 120000. If your family income is under ews then u can also opt for scholarship like up govt and other central govt scholarship which is available for all the years of your course.

Campus Life

It was really good , I wish i can come and enjoy these years once again but it really hurts me that i am going to leave this college ans passout.I made many good memories and friends in this college which i will never forget in my life

Hostel Facilities

All the facilties are available there like tennis court,gym ,tv rooms ,cricket ground ,vending machine available 24 hours for buying daily essentials. The quality of fooed was good and proper hygiene .

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

I get my admission through upsee exam which was held in 2020in which i got around 20000 rank .now a days they are accepting jee mains score for entrance.they are also conducting there own exam if u want u can go for direct admission.

Faculty

I think faculty was very good . They have good knowledge and experience. They are always ready for help me out,makimg efforts all time for improving results ,making question paper,taking quiz etc.i think 1 faculty is around for 50 student

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

Galgotias College: A college that underwhelms you in every way but never allows you to complaint.

I also applied to its affiliated college galgotias university because I heard about horrors of aktu. But didn't opt for it because the crowd on gu is actually considered really bad. GCET gives admission through UPTAC counselling through aktu. You have to appear for JEE and secure a rank of at least 2 Lakhs if you're from UP and want top CS branches....Read More

Insights of GCET

At the time of counselling, GCET is my 3rd preference as I have properly researched about it and matches with my eligibilty criteria as well. I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. Admission process happened through AKTU counselling, also 15% seats researved for direct admission as well.
