My College SBUP (BIMM)

Coming to curriculum i can say that curriculum is well designed and designed keeping in mind the need of the hour and what industry demands. First of all as you enter BSBT takes place for a month approx where they work of providing you the required soft skills and basic accounting so that student from any background can start focusing on the structure of curriculum. After BSBT semester starts where all subjects are related to your delected field. You get to make assignments of subjects. You get to do the case study session on the subject which gives an exposure to your thoughts and teaches you how to react to real life situations in a corporate. As per me no improvements can be suggested because the current curriculum is the revised one only and is best. Coming to exams we can have the end sems being conducted every end of semester and difficulty of exam is not too high but only according to the level which professors have taught during their lectures.

Internship opportunies start as soon as you finish your first semester end sems and companies start their interview process from January. The main task behind internship is to provide an industry exposure to the students for a period of two month May-June after second semester exams end. Roles offered by many companies include Marketing Intern, Quality Function Deployment Intern and Finance Intern and TA HR intern in respective domains. Most of the companies include Amul, Kantar, Kpmg, Fujitsu, flipkart, Tvs and many more companies with a stipend range from ?15000-?40000.

Placements season starts from the third semester itself. The best companies visiting campus are Deloitte, Vedanta, Infosys, SRV Media, MG, Volvo Eicher, TVS, and many more. Vedanta gives the top offer of 20.5 LPA for HR Executive and further followed by federal bank giving 14LPA and further infosys giving 7-9 LPA followed by other companies. Calvin Klein gives ctc of 13 LPA. Volvo eicher gave the ctc of 9LPA and followed by further companies. Average package comes around 8 LPA and almost 99% students get placed every year. My plan is getting further academics and going for an higher degree.

Fees for my batch was 1100000 where it was taken in 4 installments. 1st installment :- 55000 (bsbt) + 50000 (course fee) + 62500 (hostel fee) 2nd Installment :- 220000 (course) 3rd installment :- 230000 (course) 4th installment :- 475000 (course) Caution deposit :- 10000 Fees is quite high for this university but still they offer many scopes for scholarships. They give forms for meritorious students where scholarship upto 2crore are provided to students but college should think about increasing the fee every semester by almost 1 lac. I managed to get placement of 7 lac for a business development manager role at a good Organization so for me it turned out to be value for money.

Functions and fests at Balaji are lot opportunities. Fests like aiyoswamia fest which is competed among the 4 institutes and further cultural competition. The winner of the Cultural competition gets a chance to go to GOA with his class. Further, Drishti is the main fest at Balaji which goes on for about 15-20 days in January where every sport may it be indoor or outdoor is played and every student gets a chance to showcase his/her talent. DJ nights are organised every month for the students to get lightened among the hectic study, assigenment and presentation pressure. Coming to clubs so the college has various clubs like drama club, business club, sustainability club and many more. Classrooms are well equipped with smart boards, mic and speakers as well as cameras also. The whole campus is covered under CCTV cameras and no where one can escape.

Hostel is there but are provided on the first come first serve basis. Generally all the students are new to pune so most of them opt for hostel facility. Hostel facility is opted while application process only by paying the hostel accomodation fee. But you have to be in by sharp 9pm in the hostel. Meal of hostel mess is awsome like no extra masala or no extra oil in food. A complete hygeine cooked food and best quality. Even most of the professors have their meal in the college mess only. Since i was in hostel so don't have any idea of PG.

To be eligible for this course you have to have atleast 50% marks in Graduation and then you have to have the scorecard of any of the entrance exams may it be CAT or XAT or else you have to appear for SBEST conducted by sri balaji university. You have to fill the application form which costs around ?2000 and then further you have to appear for GD round , PI round and a further written ability test which further scores get prepared and admissions are given on the basis of merit list only. No donations are accepted in any form. Application form comes in month of december and goes on till march and the difficulty level of GD PI and Written test is moderate. You don't have to panic much just prepare on the real world topics and have a good command over your communication skills.

Teching is quite good quality. First of all there is no such rule that you can't meet this teacher or that teacher. In Balaji you can even meet the director of your respected institute to the Chancellor of the University anytime. This is the thing i love the most at Balaji. Next coming to faculties. All the faculties are top notch and give the world class teaching. Apart from this college also arranges for visiting faculties from different industries who come and teach us the ground level detail of every concept required for an MBA graduate in corporate. Apart from this college also arranges for Corporate lectures where great industry leaders are invited to present their view and give insights to us about the industry trends and general life which helps a lot in life. Apart from this corporate visits are also arranged by the college where we students get to see the working of the corporate and how it functions and what is our role after joining the organization. F-T-S ratio is 1:45.

GD tpoics were related to the general life like technology oriented, non fiction topics and etc. The topic which i got was role of AI in Indian Technology, I prepared my topics by studying the current affairs and practising on the generalised GD topics. After GD, the further admission round comprises of Personal Interview and a Written ability test which further decide about the possibility of your candidature in the University. Get thorough revision through practising generalised topics and focussing mainly on the current affairs.
