Remarks

Well every thing has 2 sidds of the coin so there are obviously some good and some bad thing with the management but I believe when you go out from somewhere you just carry the good memories and not the bad ones.

Entrance Preview

The Discipline of the college was top notch and the faculty was well learnt and we're aware about the recent developments in the Marketing world. Bala sir was of course one of the pivotal reasons also. The man and his dedication towards education and also getting the students placed was amazing. A man with more than 24 hours on his clock. One of the best B Schools after the top league.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Detailed and divided into 4 semesters with lot of concentration on Case studies. The first semester was more on Theories of marketing and other subjects. The library had a large collection of books which would cover all sorts of books around Marleo, Finance, IT , Digital Marketing, B2B marketing, Sales Management etc. Loved the group studies especially on the latest case studies.

Internships Opportunities

The third semester we would have companies coming in for Internship and I was placed with Nillons for 2 months in Chennai with a stipend of 8000 rupees per month.

Placement Experience

4.5

Balaji has always been known for the placement opportunities across India. Companies for Marketing , Finance, Operations , HR , Telecom, International Marketing you name it and the college along with the placement team would strive to bring it on board to have the student's placed. Overall one of the best with creating job opportunities for the students .

College Events

4

At the starting of your first semester an event between the freshers of the first year would take place and the winners would be judged fairly. A good prize also awaits for the winners. Then again a yearly contest amongst the sister colleges named Drishti would also take place with a healthy competitive spirit. The fights amd secrecy would be fun to watch amongst the teams. This is one tradition which I believe has always been going on from the inception of these colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible and with the market rates of a typical B School. But what you will find is a lot of Middle class aspirant who aspire for a better life post MBA. I am also aware of some cases where in if a student is unable to pay his/her fees and his good academically the management would forego his/ her fees

Fees and Financial Aid

I am sure SBI and Andhra Bank would provide the loans for students...not sure if the rules have changed..I personally did not avail any loan from the college

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life was great with lots of stress not only on academics but also on extra curricular activities. The gender ratio was more or less 60: 40 for Boys to Girls. Debates and extra curricular activities were part of the annual day celebrations in the college

Hostel Facilities

4.5

3 students would share a room in the hostel and would be provided a Cot, Mattress and a study table. The canteen is hygenic but the food would be repetitive. Even though we do have options of eating outside but the food inside would be hygenic. The water facilii were excellent and the overall environment was neat and full of greenary

Alumni/Alumna

Yes there are alumni networks implemented but the college itself and also the alumnis have created FB groups for all respective colleges. The WhatsApp groups are also there and are active for each location and people are really helpful when it comes to supporting each other not only for jobs but also personal help if required.

Exam Structure

Well every semester would have it's fare set of semester exams and also the term exams in between. No leniency would be spared for the students even though you would be part of any committee within the college. The papers would be competitive and you would have to be thorough with your knowledge on the subject

Admission

I first applied to the college by buying the prospectus and applied through my CAT and MAT scores. Then was shortlisted and Called for a GD and PI later. Then my graduation and school grades were verified. The GD process was clear and the panel included the current batch of students. In the PI I was asked about myself and my preferences as a B student.

Faculty

5

Brilliant Faculty is the best you can say about BIMM. The lectures were top notch and from various Industries of the country. Prof Prantosh, Ramamsashtry, Ramki, Balaji Reddy were few of my favorites..the in-depth understanding of not only their subjects but also tipics related to the current market was great

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
