Entrance Preview

PGECET, Rank 1400,i opted it by enquried about this college with the known experts and the infrastructure and labs are good and the environment is nice.

Course Curriculum Overview

Two years 3 semisters and the last semester is project . Each sem has 6 subjects and one lab for first two sems and the third sem will have only viva and fourth sem is project.

Internships Opportunities

If person joins through GATE he will get a stipend if not they wont get any stipend no general stipend offered to any one no such thing as per my knowledge you can enquire at office.

Placement cell works to bring some placements to the college its all depends on us how we would and what we do through out our course.

Likes

library is superbb and very large with equipped AC and other things
No restrictions on exit and entry in the main gate

Dislikes

too much bushes and vacant area which could be utilized to increase infrastructures.
less lightning facilities and too much darkness in many campus areas
mess food can be improved ,they should provide separate veg and non veg

Placement Experience:

From Third semester onwards students are eligible for Campus Placement Google,Microsoft,Nvidia,Qualcomm,Amazon,Paytm. Highest Package is around 42 Lpa and average is around 20 Lpa Around 80 % students are Placed. I will try my best in Campus Placements

Placement Experience:

To be frank enough the placement of IIT is very excellent. Not only did the industrial leader visit the campus but IIT Hyderabad also promotes start-ups to take part in the recruitment drive. That gives us an opportunity to be part of a startups group. Companies like Accenture Japan, Google, Microsoft, MTX, Rakuten, TSMC, Tech Mahindra visit the campus. The highest placement package during our batch was 55 LPA from Google and the average package was around 17.50 LPA

Remarks:

Research wise not that great, the curriculum is more oriented towards the industry needs, and the funding for research is very less from the government compared to other big institutions in the country

Remarks:

College is one of the best in India for studing biotechnology and bioinformatics. Placements are mostly based on student initiatives. College however provides all necessary support, help and connections.

Remarks:

I heard they always force the students to pay the fees in time. Some times we feel egoistic, aggressive behavior among the students and lectures. In case of any adhoc work or when lectures doesn't responds in time for days together we will see impatience between the students and management. During our period, couple of lectures are changed because they are not able to co-operate with the students.
