Course Curriculum Overview

4

I qualified the neet exam by scoring 584 marks in neet 2023 but they are not sufficient for getting a medical college. After a lot of research and seeing future aspects in veterinary I chose this course and now I am very happy after taking a good decision in my life. And if someone is also scoring a bit low from their mbbs cutoff try this course and save your year from another drop. A lot of jobs and scope is waiting for you.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internship facility are quite good not that great. Firstly you are serving in IVRI hospital for around 2 months then you are going for several other state universities for your internship, stipends are not given here and that is a big concern but strikes are being done by students for stipend increase hopefully it will be increased shortly.

Fees and Financial Aid

A fees of 58500 rupees is applicable on first year students while a fees of 558500 rupees is applicable on payment seat students. The students are also offered a scholarship of 3000 rupees if they are from outside Uttar Pradesh. And if you are scoring 1st rank in college a scholarship of 6000 per month and for 2nd 5000 ruppes and for 3rd 4000 rupees. Course is very affordable in terms of money.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus vise life is so chill here. There are very less restrictions for you if you are inside the campus. A huge lush green campus with a lot of farms and great sports infrastructure is present here for you. University is situated inside the city of Bareilly so not like other universities that are situated away from city.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is newly built so its great. But other hostels are very old so a bit of difficulties can be faced by you. But basically features are provided in the hostel itself like safety systems, washing machines , geysers. 3 student accommodation is given it can be hectic for you.

Admission

The admission process is simple. Forms will be out after the results of neet examination and for that you have to check the IVRI official website after the results. All the terms will be given by a brochure by the University. There are 55 seats total.

Faculty

4.5

The teachers here are experienced scientists in their respective fields. They put a lot of effort in teaching and smart classrooms are available so that teaching and learning becomes easy. While other universities has PhD students who are teaching here scientists take that place and it happens in no other college in india.

Interview Experience

5

Admission is completely depended on your neet results. At my time cut off for EWS category was 570, for general it was 593 . But this year as cutoff was increased so surely cut off for IVRI will also be increased. If you are scoring 610- 645 you will get it otherwise payment seats are an option for you

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course gives you the right to treat animals and pursuing you a very respectful degree. There is no improvement I need in course curriculum and teaching methods because the teachers are so experienced and the teachers are studies from a very high rated institute such as IVRI Bareilly. The difficulty level of exams is moderate and it is not easy like other degrees such as Btech, Biotechnology etc. You have to study so hard and regularly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I didn't get into MBBS at first, I used to run away from veterinary because it was never my first choice, but as I kept growing, I got to know the opportunities and vastness of this field, which motivated me to keep going. You can do whatever you want after BBVSc, be it a government job as an VO or preparing for civil services, or you can open your own clinic in any city. Exams happen every 3 months or 3 times, which you have to pass so that you can sit in final exams that happen just after the 3rd internals. Internals usually are easy, while final exams are moderate and hard, along with the practicals also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course, i.e. Veterinary Sciences, because I was keenly interested in the research areas in animal biology right from my formative years. I gained inspiration from my father and his colleagues who worked as research scientists at ICAR ( Indian Council of Agricultural Research). The faculty-student ratio is good, everything is according to the rules laid down by the government, as it is a state government institution. All the faculties of our college are doctors and PhD degree holders. The teaching method includes marker-whiteboards, projectors and learning by observation of the specimen. As of now, according to MSVE-2016, the schedule is annual, which includes three internal assessments and one external assessment at the end of each year. The duration of the course is 5.5 years, which includes one year of internship. Since it is a professional course, the subjects are not easy, and a consistent amount of hard work is required to retain the acquired knowledge and pass.
