Safety of the students and staff is never compromised here . There are more than 60 security guards in the campus and everything is very efficiently managed here .

Entrance Preview

I was selected here on the basis of my AIPVT exam , My AIR was 206 ( Marks - 485 ) & I managed to grab a seat here in 2nd counseling .There were several reason for choosing IVRI : My uncle who was a scientist in LUVAS , Hissar suggested me to take admission here . I was more eager to get a seat here because its the only university under central government giving a BVSc & AH degree .

BVSc & AH being a professional course just like MBBS , doesn't actually requires college placement, certainly. But to help promote student's interests and diversify job options, IVRI has developed a Placement cell . And IVRI being a brand name itself attracts a lot of Mik & Meat industries , Pharmacological Industries and NGOs too . However most of the veterinarians get government job .

5

Various kinds of events are celebrated round the year at IVRI like Foundation day celebration & Sports week , Dog shows , kisan mela , Kavi samelans , Dance events , Debate , Speech , Extempore . ICAR -IVRI being a centrally funded Institute has kept the fee structure very reasonable ₹14000* , one of the lowest in Veterinary colleges of India . The Scholarship that we get are much more than this amount , so in a way we started earling from our 1st day of college .

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course gives you the right to treat animals and pursuing you a very respectful degree. There is no improvement I need in course curriculum and teaching methods because the teachers are so experienced and the teachers are studies from a very high rated institute such as IVRI Bareilly. The difficulty level of exams is moderate and it is not easy like other degrees such as Btech, Biotechnology etc. You have to study so hard and regularly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I didn't get into MBBS at first, I used to run away from veterinary because it was never my first choice, but as I kept growing, I got to know the opportunities and vastness of this field, which motivated me to keep going. You can do whatever you want after BBVSc, be it a government job as an VO or preparing for civil services, or you can open your own clinic in any city. Exams happen every 3 months or 3 times, which you have to pass so that you can sit in final exams that happen just after the 3rd internals. Internals usually are easy, while final exams are moderate and hard, along with the practicals also.
