2 Years at LIBA.

There is nothing bad that i can say about LIBA which gave me the best 2 years of my entire Life LIFE at LIBA is really insightful mixed with fun & learning's you can learn to multi task, be social & nurture yourself as a better person.

XAT Had scored 78% in it & preferred LIBA because of the reputation of 100% placements track record it enjoyed over the years also chennai was my favorite place & went for interview without any 2nd thoughts selection process had Group discussion & an interview which constituted a panel of 3 professors of LIBA.

1st year had all generic papers like BFA, Operations mgmt, Quantitative statistics, Research methodology,etc and common for all 2nd year curriculum was based on electives you choose.

Asian paints, coke, cavinkare, Religare, JLL were some of the companies which came for internship avg stipend was ranging from 10 to 15k/month & it was for a period of 2 months.

Placements for my & senior batch was 100 %Was part of the placement cub for my seniors placement week.In both batches around 70% students got placed during placement week itself. YES bank offered the highest CTC (12L/annum) in 2011 batch and for our batch Religare(13L/annum) & ICICI (11-12/annum for laterals) were the highest paying companies. Other companies include CTS, Infosys, Photon, Asian paints, Vedanta, CBRE, JLL, Virtusa, CRISIL, Federal, Tata motors, etc.

There were lots of engaging activities in our campus across which was fun filled starts with freshers for juniors which is full of culturals, music & welcome party for juniors. Every auspicious function is celebrated crazily (Onam,pongal,Holi,Diwali,Christmas ,etc) also we can a Inter college symposium & cultural fest called chrysallis which is filled with events & culturals also we conduct business conference like Insight, HR conclave etc where veterans from various fields participate. Late Mr Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was the cheif guest for Insight 2011 and every week had guest lectures also.

Administrative fees was close to 8L/annum for our batch hostel & mess fees was extra which was close to 2.5L for 2 years overall fee structure was feasible which was quite manageable with the educational loan that LIBA helps you with PNB visits campus to help you with educational loan.

Gender ratio was equal & it was a decent mix of students from across india you get to know the culture & diversity of our vast nation just in 2 years of LIBA life. There were annual sports meet which is normally between juniors & seniors you have a wonderful ground for cricket, football & superb courts for Basket & volleyball hostelmates can play TT, Carrom, & badmittion within hostel itself. Technical fest were also there like chrysallis, Insight, HR conclave etc.

Hostel facility was also good which was well maintained & situated close to campus there are several canteens nearby needless to say that Loyola is situated at the heart of the city mess food wasnt that great. You can opt for 3 varieties of Mess food ( Ve

Alumni often visit our campus through Guest lectures or through casual visits as well. Alumni network is being handled by Ms.Vandana zacharias who is the seniormost faculty in LIBA. Alumni meet happens every year where you can come & interact with each other and for everything else there is social media now (FB, whatapp groups :D).
