Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is nice and useful to study. We should be studying little by little every day to avoid hassles. Last minute studying can be very hectic and tiring because there are a lot of things to study and if not followed properly can become a headache.

Placement Experience

4

Placements are provided by the college from Last (4th) year of the course. There are a high percentage of students getting placements compared to other colleges in the area. I dont currently have a plan on what to do after graduation but i hope ill figure something out.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is relatively low compared to other colleges nearby. I am on NRI quota so i have to pay donation too but if you have written any type of scholarship exam you can get a scholarship on fees too. i pay 50k per year.

Campus Life

2.5

There are a few celebrations overall. While taking admissions they told there are more programs than classes which was a total lie as tje programs were after college ????????. But overall there are programms for Onam,Christmas,Tech fest. Tech fest was alright the other two were not very good. Sports are there there is an hour for extra activities every week but we are only allowed some days otherwise theyll take classes????. No clubs overall. All the classrooms are smart classes and teachers yse moden method for teaching. Library has a wide range of books for students but i dont know if anyone is utilising it.

Admission

I had 86% in 12th standard so getting in was pretty easy you dont need much marks to get in as its a private college. If you have money for it go for it. The admission process was very easy and fast. We only need to go to the college and fill out some forms and pay the fee

Faculty

4

There are special dedicated faculty for every department. They are very supportive and caring towards the students. They can help us almost anytime. They are very friendly and approachable. The teaching is very nice but some subjects we may not understand but for others its very nice.

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.
