Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Curriculum is outdated . Some of the faculties were really supportive and probably the reason I could score well in exams for their subjects . Because it is a private college , faculties were also changing every now and then. Exams are conducted every semester. Since we were attending college during covid , exam times got messed up .

Placement Experience

3

Students are eligile for campus placements from last semester . Few companies visited but most of them were BPO jobs . The placement coordinators were very active and they used to make us apply for lot of jobs and would share all kinds of opportunities with us . Even though the companies that came to our college weren't up to mark , lot of my classmates are working in companies that were shared my the coordinators . Highest average would be 10 LPA . About 40% of students got placed . I am currently working too .

Fees and Financial Aid

I took education loan after second year . Tuition fee was constant for me .There are scholarship available for students and you will get notified about the same when its time to apply. I got placed from campus . Not a campus drive but a company that I got through placement cell . I applied and attendended few rounds of interview and got placed . Campus Placement drives were conducted in college though . Few of my batchmates were selected .

Campus Life

4

I had experienced two tech fests in my course duration . Both were good . Not really grant but it was enjoyable for me .There are different kinds of books available in the library . I personally have donated a few too . From comics to novels to engineering books and magazines . Every classroom has a projector and a screen . Classes are taken with presentation . White board is used if needed . I was not a sporty person so I wasn't much involved in the sports scene . But we had PT every week and they used to encourage us to go out and play . There are different kind of clubs too like dance and music clubs . Lot of organizations like IEEE , IEDC etc help the students to come out of their shell and shape their personality.

Admission

Admission process was smooth. I took seat in NRI Quota . Faculties were friendly . My course was in real demand back then . I did not attend any entrance exams . Exams are conducted once in a semsester by kerala technological university. Very difficult to get marks in my opinion. I used to mug up a lot .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
