Remarks
Overall the college has a great environment, there is scope for growth of students.
Entrance Preview
I selected this college keeping my grades and the previous years' merit lists under consideration. After visiting the college after 2nd round CAP Allotment I was certainly happy to have gotten into this college. Another factor that I opted in for this college is because this college is at the Core of College Road.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is great. The syllabus is common of All UniPune colleges. Students get ample time to study, participate in co-curricular activities, relax and prepare for exams, viva. Holidays are scheduled properly, extra classes may be conducted for completing syllabus.
Internships Opportunities
The college does not provide Internship. Although, the college staff may refer students to good places for internships.
Placement Experience
The placement history of the college is great. Usually, 70% of the entire batch gets placed in all branches. Well known companies like Mahindra, TCS pay the college a visit. Generally, the placement activities start during the end of 7th sem (i.e. 4th year beginning). The interviews are well placed among a decent slot of time so that students can attend as per convenience.
College Events
A ton of events takes place the college, ranging from sports events to technical events. College dedicates on the week for DAYS. The campus of the college is huge hence there is ample space for Carrying out sports events. Even the Annual gathering takes place inside the college campus. The sports are inter as well as intra college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The Fees structure is definitely feasible. It has an approximate fee of 60k per year which is more affordable than most of the other colleges in Nashik. However, the administration does not allow the students to pay the fees in parts. All the fees must be cleared when the semester begins.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college itself does not provide any scholarship or loan facility, however, it is affiliated with various loan facilities like HDFC, etc. Also, students with castes like ST, SC, NT, OBC can opt for scholarship forms provided by Maharashtra Government.
Campus Life
The college crowd is half-decent. The gender ratio is roughly 10/7 (M/F). The college has good labs for all branches with all basic facilities in them. Sports in the college are given importance, the students are provided with proper equipment, if interested. Extra technical and nontechnical events are organized for the overall growth of pupil.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are separate for both boys and girls. Both buildings are inside the college campus and are very close to the main college building. The hostel has all the basic facilities and students have to live in a pair of two for each room. The mess food is decent. Variety is provided. Only Veg food is available.
Alumni/Alumna
A few notable alumni of the college are at higher positions both in and out of India. Some of them visit the college for guests speeches or other events like Annual Gathering.
Exam Structure
The college follows UniPune exam structure. For the first two years of engineering, there are 2 exams for each semester i.e. theory exam (50M) and online exam (50M). There are practical exams and term work too. After the 2nd year, there are only theory exams of 80M in each semester. In addition, the college conducts practice exams for students.
Admission
For getting into colleges for Bachelor's Degree, one has to appear for and score a decent amount of marks in CET. After the CET Results, the Central Admission Process forms are to be filled where college preferences are to be selected. Usually, 3 merit lists are put up by various colleges where I can freeze or float my admission and hence wait for the next list.
Faculty
The behavior of teaching, non-teaching and office staff is good. Staff is helpful and encouraging. The teachers are well qualified and extremely helpful in Lecture and otherwise. Overall the college has a positive vibe and provides a perfect growth environment.
