Remarks

The college management is good but the pressure is very hard because they're a lot of things in law college and you cannot take everything so there is always an opportunity cost in it which a student has to choose but for this also the seniors and the management supports a student.

Entrance Preview

A good private college which is competing with best govt colleges. It has good teachers and students as it is based on merit and no reservation is there. You will find the students having the same mental level and has many events in order to enhance a person ability.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is very good as this covers ba and B.Com where rather than only having books teachers provide essential reading materials that are ERM which gives you a thorough understanding of the chapters. Teachers take remedial classes for students who don't understand.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides various internships like debate workshops and various other workshops and regarding stipend, I am less aware of.

Placement Experience

3

Placemats and job opportunities are increasing year after year. Nirma is performing very well. The campus placements are not so good because it is a private college but students have their abilities and with that, they get jobs into big firms. Those who got an intern to get their jobs done because of their work which Nirma provides us.

College Events

5

There are various events like garbage night. Hindi was an annual function. Various singing and dancing competitions. A new talent hunt for the freshers. Freshers party farewell. Quiz competitions, debate and extempore competitions. Moot competitions and muns Lok Sabha, Vidhan Parishad, and essay writing competitions. And various help providing events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is expensive for a middle-class people because as it is a private college so it has better-equipped facilities and charges fees for it. But it has a scope for a scholarship which is provided for meritorious students by income means. The students whose parents income is less and can't afford it they can get 100% or less than it scholarships.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are three types of scholarships. First according to the class where top 10 students availed scholarships first one get 100% and other gets decreased. The second type is of merit cum means where also the same scale. The third one is according to the class performance whoever tops the semester he gets a scholarship.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is very good because of talented seniors as there is an anti-ragging policy so there are no cases of ragging and even the seniors support you and never mock the juniors. They teach us further by having skill labs to improve our personality. The other competitions are very good because like mooting competitions, students also reach out to international moots and college takes all the expenses and has reimbursement policy.

Hostel Facilities

5

There is no hostel for postgraduate students because of the many colleges in one university but there is. Hostel for undergraduate students and the hostel seem very good at having good infrastructure and food with good amenities. The mess food is very good. Nothing os there according to Gujarati thing being sweet only. It has good food.

Alumni/Alumna

They are very helpful and are ready to provide due support and diligence to juniors. They try to help to cope in the college studies with fun. They have also installed a buddy system by which each junior gets his senior buddy who not only supports him in college but after it also.

Exam Structure

Exams of 1 semester have 2 parts where 1 part if of vale 100 marks which are further divided into 40 marks for written and 60 is of extra work and projects. The second part has 100 marks for the written. By extra work means class participation and various other activities.

Admission

Common law admission test is all India test for the entrance of NLU through this Nirma also take its students who don't go to NLU comes here. The rank starts from 1200. Around 240 students get admission per year. NRI is also a basis for selection. This takes double the fees.

Faculty

3.5

Teachers here are very cooperative. They provide help to every student. By having remedial classes and even help the students after classes. A student can go to their cabins and the teachers are very supportive and even they solve the student's doubts by mails and phones.

Placement Experience:

Our campus placements start from 4th year and like by the end of 5th year, most students are placed. Many corporate firms and with Gift City setting up most jobs were offered in the GIFT CITY. Even almost all the top law firms also have their branches in Ahmedabad and so that is where placements are done.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the major reasons why I chose this course was that this was very unique , bsc in data science along with LLB is very new in the market, although it has it's own drawbacks, in the real world, there is not much demand for technocrat lawyers right now but with time this will increase. The major improvement would be the inclusion of other fields of law like IP, arbitration etc. There are three components for exams, one is mid sems which is held in the starting two months of the semester and after two months is the end sems. The semester are pretty short which is why we get time for internships and which provides us very nice exposure for real-world.

Placement Experience:

After 4th year, students are eligible to sit for placements. Some students also receive a pre-placement offer in the 4th year itself. The students are first prepared for day zero, i.e., placement day, beforehand by conducting a mock interview, which is a voluntary session conducted by the placement committee. CV Vetting workshops are also conducted in the eighth semester because at the end of the 8th semester, the placements are made where tier-1 companies like Khaitan, AZB Partners, CAM, SAM, Trilegal, etc. In-house firms like Adani, ICICI Bank, Tata, and more come for recruiting students. Some students sit for placement; others who want to prepare for government exams like judiciary, UPSC, Public Prosecutor, etc. refrain from sitting in placements.

In a law firm, there are no placements you have to get knowledge and then you can go to practice under any lawyer whichever you want and then you can do an internship in under of that lawyer. And you can stay in your own firm also. My plans for after passed out to practice under a very prestigious lawyer and get experience.
